Just stating your series. I applaud your ambitions and wish you the best of luck! I hope you got 20 10% scrolls.
As you level up, there's more gear for warrior that increases DEX, and glove DEX scrolls aren't super rare, so you'll have that to potentially utilize! Also, you'd be surprised just how many low level quests in maplelegends give great EXP for very little combat. The most valuable example is in the floating market, but shouldn't be taken until at LEAST (LOW%) 14 or 15 because it can give you well over a level's worth of EXP. The reason I say to wait is because you can't level twice from one source, so you'll get a full level and then to 98% of the next, chopping off a portion of the EXP if done at a bad time. I would strongly recommend also checking for Mano as often as you can, people always camp to try and kill him on every channel, so if you happen to see him and the map isn't being utilized by someone else, GO FOR IT, and be SURE to grab the rainbow shell afterward. It's a use item but DO NOT use it, instead pursue to quests from Pia in Henesys around level 20 and follow them until you get the opportunity to turn in the shell for a loooot of EXP. There's a ton of information on the MapleLegends forums, and in particular, a post called "1-35 in 6 hours" or something that will make early levels an absolute breeze. Good luck!
Great advice! I'm not super familiar with how this server differs from the game back in the 2000's, but it'll be good to familiarize myself with some of these tips while I attempt to stay true to the original experience.

that's odd, the audio issues are definitely still there and this does seem to be the "old intro" since all other entries in this series have a different intro compared to this one
"the" audio issues are gone but I may have introduced more by mistake because I'm a very novice editor. part 2 and beyond had a custom intro added that weren't the "this is what i'm starting" type of deal.@@PandaAsInTheCuteAnimal
looking forward to this series, especially because you don't randomly have way more mesos than to know what to do with, so it's actually realistic.

How nice of UA-cam to pop up this video for me especially since I'm an old Legends player myself. Will be following this playthrough and I'm really thrilled with the first episode! Also, I don't remember if Maple Weapons drop from normal drops otherwise I guess shield is to prefer since u can scroll it for DEX? Good job mate!

10:12 you have loads of orange mushrooms in the area in front of pig park (the house on the way to Mushmom) WAY more than henesys huntinground and its the only monster spawning in that map also. just pure orange mushroom. i've grinded there for a while but honestly it gets super tedious moreso than hunting dark stump in perion maps i would say
Is that the map with the iron hogs? Trying to picture it now. I didn't know there was even a half decent orange mushroom map
@@tujou Yea the map in between the iron hogs and henesys is a 100% orange mushroom map
Actually there is, Korean maple story released a separated version of pre big bang maple story but foreigners like us need to use vpn to get in. But heard you only need vpn to go in then you are good to turn it off. Although the game will be solely in Korean language 😂

I did! This server uses that old dice roll feature haha. I've heard wind that is was technically possible to get 13/4/4/4 at a point in time, but that's a bit hardcore for me without confirming if it can really happen. I was mostly concerned with 4 DEX 4 LUK.
@@tujou Ive currently spent the last two days tryng to hit 12 str to give the challenge ago. ive hit 12 Luk 4 times in a row so maybe i just go Thief xD Love the series and big love for you brother xx

Video starting with “there is no challenge to be had in modern ms” is just wrong, and I played both. The challenge is much more grinding and far more skills required as bosses are hard. I played all dark souls games and some bosses in modern maple take the crown.
What you are talking about it the leveling to 200, which has become a chore instead of a part of the game.
Yes you are correct that is what I'm talking about :) I didn't have the end game content in mind when I said that, I was only comparing the leveling journey. Sorry to all the modern maplers who felt the same way! I could have said it better.

You should do this on an actual old school server, you are chugging pots at lv20 and have 1m mesos, things drop left and right, rates are way too high

I don't hit level 20 in this video, and when I eventually do hit level 20 I have 50k to my name lol. That's from not spending anything on armor and being very conservative with pots. I don't reach my first million mesos til around level 40 with some lucky Drumming Bunny drops iirc
