This is the first I’ve heard about the single vision glasses. My 89 yr old mother has PSP and is having a lot of vision problems. She has bifocals. I will call her eye doctor this week about changing her glasses to single vision. This is such a horrible disease and more medical personnel need to learn about it. It is so frustrating each time she is hospitalized, I have to explain it again and again.

My Father has PSP and it is an absolutely devastating condition to have. It is so aggressive and has taken away all of his function. It has all happened so fast. I pray for my father. It hurts to watch him suffer especially when I know there is nothing that can be done. I pray that a cure for this condition can be found. Prayers to all who are dealing with this in their family.

Sir why downgaze is affected more earlier than upgaze palsy, please explain??

I understood it more than upgaze palsy is common in older people, so isn't a good diagnostic feature for PSP.

    Dear Dr Lee
I hope this email finds you well,
My mother is law has been diagnosed with PSP 2 years ago, she was just turning 60 years old.
She lives in France, near Bordeaux.
As many families confronted to this disease, we feel lost and it is difficult to accept that there is no cure.
I was just wondering, where could I find information, medical review in order to closely follow the research and the newest discovery.
    Thank you for your time
    Kind regards

Parkinson disease is a very terrible illness🤢, my Dad suffered from it for 19 years until we finally got a help and a medicine from Dr Madida that truly works that helped treat, cure and reversed all his symptoms..”My Dad is well a gain.”

I think air embolism (when one or more air bubbles enter a vein or artery and block it) in brain is reason of progressive supernuclear palsy
