My wife and I just went to Young Dong Korean Tofu the other night for her birthday. It is soooo good! I was full, almost uncomfortably, but at the same time the warmth of the tofu and the rice made it comforting!
We put our names (2) on the waiting list of about 10 or more (we thought we'd have to wait and hour), and walked around, but we came back a bit later and we realized they called our names early because they were looking for 2 people, as opposed to a bigger group. So if you go there, be aware of that! We told them, and they immediately seated us, even though there were others waiting (in bigger groups)

I would go to the Wagyu place in Monterey Park but only problem is I got my car bipped there so I need to know if there's a safe parking spot there. I notice in the back area of JJ Cafe there are a bunch of homeless guys on bikes chilling in the corner and I kinda feel they're waiting opportunistically to prey on ppl.
