Hey Vicki, i just wanted to leave you this comment to say that i appreciate your videos a lot. I left my family home 2 years ago and moved countries. I had to learn how to cook all by myself in these two years. Even before I left home I never lived close to my grandparents. So this feels like having a grandma teach me how to cook from afar. So thank you so much. Have a great day!

I am excited to try this! That new knife is a thing of beauty! Nothing like a sharp comfortable knife. Thanks for making this movie for us and sharing this terrific recipe! 😊❤ Michella

I've never grown tomatillas, I'll have to try that next year. Your Pork Chile Verde looks wonderful. Blessings to your family.

I always think of a question after I’ve all ready commented lol sorry- was wondering if you’ve ever make cider vinegar with the pears? (Or the scraps for that matter)

I am making pear scrap vinegar this year. I usually make apple scrap vinegar every year.

Yes, I have in the past, but you do need to watch some of the seasonings. I usually go light on cumin, and leave out the cilantro or parsley when I can it. Then add them to taste when I reheat.

We have been looking for a good sharp knife. What is the name of it? Where can I find it at?
