Brian was Dexter's greatest adversary, both physically and mentally. He could have blindsided Dexter so many times but instead he led Dexter by breadcrumbs.
Trinity was a great character. But Brian was interesting and that story could have gone on for a couple of seasons. It's almost at if Brian wanted Dex to kill him. What Brian seemed to want was for Dexter to remember the truth. Good answer.
i think honestly in the show why it was so good acting is cause they were just honestly being themselfs in their personalities but just using a script to talk lol
Desmond Harrington is a fucking great actor. I really hope he gets some big roles in the future, seems like he has a Ray Liotta vibe, intense while cool and charismatic at the same time.
"Is [Quinn] destined to become a Doakes 2.0?" - Kelly AOL Desmond Harrington: "Kelly, that's a stupid question. You know that's a stupid question, Kelly." LOL
+Adrian Moment that look 8:07 i dont think it's "whate the fuck" look, it kinda looks to me like he is about to say something, but he let's Masuka finishes. Thats just my oppinion, and 80% you may be right, i am just guessin'. Peace
you obviously arent too social or your blind they seem very comfortable together go watch a random michael c hall interview with a random person and compare it to this then get back to me
Andrius Vxx I would also like to know what this means. There’s an episode of that UA-cam show where celebrities eat hot wings and Shia LeBeouf also references some kind of “room” when preparing for emotional scenes.
That's the beauty of it, the way it's written it encompasses the talent not the notions and more over it's an Art...so do you really think can we define it ???
James is so good-looking for an older guy. I always noticed his slight Boston-area accent when he pronounces words the short "o" sound, like in "conduct" or "popular". I didn't always love the character of Harry, but I have to remember that he is flawed, since in essence, he represents Dexter's "other thoughts", not what Harry would've said in life. So, when Harry's "spirit" would goad Dexter or insult him, really it was really all Dexter's own mind.
I absolutely love Michael C Hall in Dexter!! He’s just incredible!! E whole team is super great! It’s my favourite show n I can watch it again n again! Not for w killings but just to watch e incredible acting n dialogue of everyone!!
I don't understand all the Desmond hate. He wasn't interrupting everyone, he interrupted once because he choked on his coffee and that was adorable. Also Desmond has been an actor for awhile, he's not new. He was great in The Hole.
this interview kinda shows why there wasnt much promo like this when the show was airing. show like this you;d expect like a "talking dead" show along with it... but this shows why not.
No. Hannah initially did not realize the sister was an issue she'd have to contend with to the extent she did. Deb, on the other hand, knew how her brother felt about Hannah and continued to wreak havoc by going off half cocked and making decisions that later came back to bite her in the proverbial tuckus. Had she thought it through she would have understood that neither Hannah nor any other person would ever displace her from her space in Dexter's life and the best thing she could do would be to sit back and stop interfering in Dexter's life by making others take notice. She increased the threat to both Dexter and Hannah, making it impossible for them to fly under the radar. Had she stepped back and supported her brother, they'd have made a clean getaway and all would be alive. However, I also think Dexter's altruistic move in handing Oliver Saxon and leaving his sister alone with the man was ill conceived, albeit an attempt at being "normal" (a condition that, if everything it seems to be is highly overrated).
What is “the room” C. S. Lee mentions at 4:30? He’s not the first actor I’ve heard reference this either. Shia LeBeouf also talks about “the room” on his episode of Hot Ones. The green room maybe? But that doesn’t make sense in context to his comment. 🤷🏻♀️
Crazy scary when Michael was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma while shooting the show. The original actor who played Spartacus on the Starz series, Andy Whitfield had been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma while shooting the first season, so the production filmed a 6 episode prequel for the second season so he could get treatment, but unfortunately he lost his battle less than a year later and they had to replace him with another actor, Liam MacIntyre. Luckily, he was great as Spartacus, too. But hardly as good as Andy Whitfield, just like anyone else would have been, and it would have sucked to have seen Dexter replaced by someone else. But, although it was slightly different circumstances, fortunately that didn't happen lol because he was able to be diagnosed in time and beat it. It's difficult to imagine anyone else playing Dexter.
I agree its I like Micheal Hall he seems down to earth but that revealed a bit of arrogance, as if to say I have no weaknesses as an actor. How dare you ask. He is a great actor but all actors as do all people have weaknesses.
eduardian girl girl I don't know where you saw any hint of arrogance tbh. I took it as them being horrified about having to look deep into themselves as actors and pulling that out.
I suppose your right Kujan. I guess I feel that it is not that awful to look at oneself and answer that question. I am not however in the public eye so I cannot relate to how that would be as an actor.
I don't understand how you would know all this based on an interview. Do you have any legit accounts about Desmond Harrington being an a-hole on set? I have only read positive things about him and I know for a fact that he and MCH are friends irl. In fact, I don't understand any of the anti-Desmond comments here. He is perfectly composed and calm, not loud in any way. He seems like a quiet/cool guy. Are we even watching the same video?
My favorite series on a cable network ever, just ahead of True Blood. Dexter rules and I can not wait for the new wrap up chapter coming in the Fall. 😘👍👍👍👍❤️
I also want to know is why isn't there a season 9,to show how everyone goes on and where is Harrison now,and Hanna with Harrison. There was a thing on UA-cam option of a preview showing Hanna's face cut like Dexter does his other killers,so seems like there is a 9,just not out yet😐😥
Remer in real life is exactly like Harry...he gets paid to play himself! They all are exactly like on screen! Great actors? Hmmm, personalities that fit characters...acting is way overrated. We do have some serious manly voices here tho...deep, masculine tones less CS
Wow, I love Desmond off-screen too. "I think I can be suspicious of Dexter and go about looking into Dexter in more circuitous routes... GOOD WORD" I died.
5:54 - When was this interview taken place? according to the date, this was after season 5 had started- and Dexter didn't kill Lumen (who got REALLY close to him).
God, I never expected Masuka to be so... adulty.
L
I was expecting to hear his signature Masuka giggle.
Ha ha ha
ikr hes nothing like his character
Ofc he is asian
i didnt know Quinn was a real person
This is sooo weird... people other than Dext can hear Harry..... whoa.. lol
lol
They all seem half in-character.
Fkin lol
😂👌
this isn't harry tho,it's the actor playin him, james remark
Michael C Hall has a weird sense of humor and I’m here for it.
I can see why he was cast
Finished my "Dexter" marathon. Loved the series.
Just finished the last episode, feel so depressed from what happened in the episode and the fact it's over ;_;
Loved Prison Break too. Now I've started "Orange is the New Black" so far so good.
God Bless
@Mario Pinto it's a good writing and will go long time on demand for it...haters will hate ...but that's what it is
Brian was Dexter's greatest adversary, both physically and mentally. He could have blindsided Dexter so many times but instead he led Dexter by breadcrumbs.
interesting
He could have been if he was more objective but Arthur takes number 1 for me because he killed Rita.
Nah, def Arthur Mitchell, easily.
Trinity was a great character. But Brian was interesting and that story could have gone on for a couple of seasons. It's almost at if Brian wanted Dex to kill him. What Brian seemed to want was for Dexter to remember the truth. Good answer.
@@Caulderone I think the point was that Brian wanted Dexter to join him, not kill him
Harry/James Remar is the weirdest person to see out of character.
lol so true
out of character? they are exactly like their characters!
i think honestly in the show why it was so good acting is cause they were just honestly being themselfs in their personalities but just using a script to talk lol
Emily Mathews yep all that I have in my head is “dirty martini, dirty b*****d”
He seems cool as hell though with a good sense of humor. I’ve only seen him in dramas. Hell of an actor
Desmond Harrington is a fucking great actor. I really hope he gets some big roles in the future, seems like he has a Ray Liotta vibe, intense while cool and charismatic at the same time.
Pilkie101 needsxto gain some weight
Last I saw him on a Batman movie
He also kind of looks like him!
“What’s your favorite swear word?” *bleeps them all out*
Michael.. no one can play dexter better than him... he is so so cold like he is dexter during his normal life!
@Reverse Fuhrer Just like Greg House is Hugh Laurie 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hope you got a grip post 2 years, posting this...
@@logan4002 true.
"Kelly that's a stupid question" 😭 I came here to see Desmond lol.
❤️
Who else thinks that Harry's actor /Harry has a very satisfying voice ??
He’s the timeless patriarch. Like Liam Neeson and Milton Berles, I’m not surprised he apparently has a big pickle too
Nah hes a bad actor ngl
I heard he’s notoriously an asshole in real life
"Is [Quinn] destined to become a Doakes 2.0?" - Kelly AOL
Desmond Harrington: "Kelly, that's a stupid question. You know that's a stupid question, Kelly."
LOL
Masuka playing Dexter would be weird as fuck.
"Tonight's the night. And it's gonna happen again and again.

Huhuhuhuhuhuhuh."
Stranger Danger fUCK I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING
Stranger Danger MAN HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
+Stranger Danger Hahahahha
That's because we know Masuka as Masuka. 🤣🤣
Quinn choking on his coffee is one og the funnest things ive ever see
So, 5 years later, I really hope you saw something funnier by now
This is kinda awkward. It's like they all have a different taste in humor and they rarely agree on opinions.
+Adrian Moment
I mean look at 7:52 , Masuka makes this Masuka-joke and then 8:07 he gets this look
+Adrian Moment So glad im not the only one who found it awkward.
+Adrian Moment that look 8:07 i dont think it's "whate the fuck" look, it kinda looks to me like he is about to say something, but he let's Masuka finishes. Thats just my oppinion, and 80% you may be right, i am just guessin'. Peace

fr like after 8 seasons they are still akward around eachother
Watching this a decade later is even more exciting.
I agree!
real
when masuka says that he wants to be deb and go into a rom alone you see micheals reaction and its priceless because they were married
I just re watched that bit and it didn't even show his reaction.
what does it mean, 'go into a room alone'?
Andrius Vxx I would also like to know what this means. There’s an episode of that UA-cam show where celebrities eat hot wings and Shia LeBeouf also references some kind of “room” when preparing for emotional scenes.

Quinn is real. Desmond is a character.

"You're definitely dead."

He's Richard to me
Michael knows at least a little how cool he is :).
Julie Akselrud
He is self aware
"Dexter the money" XD
Did Anyone tell Desmond he can break character off screen?

Desmond, I love you.
Desmond is not an asshole. He is just a bit shy is all.

MCH doing the whole wax ritual makes him sound more creepy than the actual Dexter lol
lol
😂
I love how Desmond Harrington just doesn't give a shit
Just finished binge watching this show! Love it. ❤️
Precisely. I couldn't agree more about Hall. The guy's perfect for the role and I'm sure this is the character of his life.
Desmond is so goofy! 😍 I love James Remar..loved him in SATC too.. MCH is so intense in everything he does! 😘😘
They all look kinda sleepy and indifferent lol
i feel like thats every interview i watch about this show
This was an interesting watch because you can see all of the distinct personalities of every actor

Dexter's greatest foe? Dexter.
Hannah. She's the reason everything fucked up!
No. Hannah initially did not realize the sister was an issue she'd have to contend with to the extent she did. I would like to meet Michael C. Hall. he seems nice, though serious a lot of the time. I think he truly loves his fans. his DEX heads!!!! ;)
What's your fave swear word? It's (bleep) or (bleep bleep). What a pointless question
And we will finally get a proper season 2021!!
Edit: yes trinity was his #1 foe. That season was phenomenal
Awkwardly honest or honestly awkward? fun tho.

what the fuck is the point of asking the curse word question, if you're gonna censor it ?
why is "as an actor, what is your greatest weakness?" so horrifying?

6:13 - he just prophesied the last episode of season 7. 😅
I am a huge fan...I have all 1 through 6...looking forward to 7! Keep it up!
The idea of Trinity. John Lithcow was a wierd serial killer.
They are all high.
Why is this so akward ? lol
RIGHT! I can relate, so for me it's hilarious.😅
xD Just awesome vid, you can see that they're bored and dont want to be there answering those questions, just awesome xD
Harry/ James remar still feels like dexter/Micheals father to me lol.
I feel like Quinn never broke character.
none of them have...they get paid to be themselves...acting?
yeah, bit of a dick isnt he?
