(COMPETITION) Café Couch - Outdoor Modular Coffee Sofa - Competition Entry

Video competition entry for 3MPlast, a manufacturing company, seeking a new modular plastic sofa for outdoor use, comprising a series of modules enabling various configurations with different shapes, heights, and dimensions - ranging from a single seat to a multi-seat sofa with a coffee table.
The Café Couch is an eclectic yet modern proposal for re-thinking outdoor sofas, using a composite material made from a mix of melted-down used coffee cups and coffee grounds (often discarded), very environmentally sustainable, that can be used with injection moulding, fantastic for mass production. The design was inspired by coffee pods, the playful shape that they have and how coffee breaks at work (and such) gather people around these objects. The design aims to bring people together outdoors in warm climates for their well-deserved break.
