      How many people have you converted? Because I often hear that a good steak doesn't need sauce and I just think in my head "obviously you've never had jeow som".

    Take a bit of sticky rice with piece of grilled steak or chicken..Dip them in jeow som, and you will have encountered heaven on earth..If you've never tried this stuff, you have no idea what you're missing out on..If you like heat, this is the Cadillac of all dipping sauces.

    Great episode. Will try this recipe!! For fish sauce, I would look at the ingredient list and pick the LEAST amount of ingredients so that it's close to "pure" or virgin, with no additives, water, etc. Brands I suggest are Squid brand (Thai), 3 Crab THREE Crab brand (Vietnamese), or Red Boat brand (first-press / virgin fish sauce!). Thanks for the great channel.

      After trying all 3; depending on the dish, I use any of them. My favorite is Red Boat, even tho’ a little more pricey.

    Made the jeow som step by step and it turned out delicious! I see other people use ginger in it, could you tell me what the difference is in taste? Thank you for your awesome recipes.

      I usually think of ginger separate cause I make a different dip with ginger. Never tried it with jeow som

    It's not called jeow B it's called jeow bong and you didn't even show which fish sauce your using which i know exactly which bottle that is it's called 3 crabs fish sauce thanks for the tips for nothing and btw you never even listed the measurements for your sauce recipes it all looks good tho thanks for posting maybe more detail next time. the best sauce is the jeow som hands down sap sap!
