The amount of interstate civil wars and state wars in the USA is kinda crazy. Bleeding Kansas, Toledo war, Black rock rebellion just to name a few. Its literally Holy Roman Empire like inter-conflicts but in a Federal Republic
There were a surprising amount of civil wars within a single state, which never get talked about. Are you going to do more videos like this one? I personally would recommend the Dorr Rebellion in Rhode Island. Both sides fought each other for months, and the federal government in DC actually decided it didn't care and didn't to intervene.
@OURO8ORUO The precident is actually the opposite, usually the federal government intervenes by sending in troops or arresting everyone after it happens (think of the Whiskey Rebellion, for instance). At least that's my understanding of the history (I might be wrong). In the case of Rhode Island though, there is clear evidence that the federal gov knew some of what was happening and actively decided that they did not care who won and wouldn't get involved.
Honestly this reminds me of the time when Michigan and Ohio went to war over Toledo. But it was alot less bloody. I think the Causalities were something like 1 guy got shot in the leg and a few guys went to jail?

Actually, Toledo is very important to both states because of what it is: a port city by the Great Lakes. With Canals being a profitable thing, having a port city is s boon for any state to becoming rich during the time...
I forget the county/state, but after the great war, the veterans returning home found their town & county being overtaken by crooks. The vets had to retake their town from the criminals who took power during their time away at war. it led to a massive gun fight at a prison over the ballots when the crooks attempted to seize the ballot boxes & hid in the prison (trying to stuff the ballot boxes) and also used their crooked police force to physically assault anyone at the poll booths who would vote for the veterans and tried to illegally arrest the veterans. Finally the vets had enough and got their weapons and sieged the prison to get the ballot boxes back, while the town cheered them on. wish I could remember the county and the state it happened in.

Rather famously, Kansas also had it's own mini-Civil War but so did Rhode Island (Dorr Rebellion) and Louisiana (Battle of Liberty Place).
