I almost ordered the ABH Soft Glam yesterday but stopped myself because I remembered that the new Revolution Re-Loaded / Velvet Rose Palette looked a lot like it so I stopped myself. So glad you posted this so soon! There is no difference in the look on the eyes but the MUR side, the shimmer seems to stand out more to me. So glad I didn't get the Soft Glam and will definitely be ordering the Velvet Rose. Lovely!

i ordered the velvet rose so that i can stop daily use on my ABH soft glam because its a pricey one to replace once i use it up!!! dusty rose, rose pink and fairy are my fave 3 shadows in SG! my revolution one will be here Saturday, shipping across the pond only took 11 days!! i love your videos thank you for this one i was wondering how close these actually were! i LOVE makeup revolution, they bring the high end looks down to my price range!

I decided to use this palette this morning as I wanted a dusty rose look to my eyes as I'm wearing a dusty pink chiffon and lace blouse today. I'm getting ready at 6am and need my makeup to last all day as I'm going out for an early dinner with my 2 children and my partner. I can always rely on revolution eye products and concealer to last until 9pm when I take my makeup off. (Unfortunately their foundations are horrible on me). Decided to watch your video while getting ready. Only difference is that i darkened my seven with the black and used darker browns under the eye. Here's to us brown eyed girls.... these colours are perfect on us. I also used the foil gold in my inner corner... which hadn't done b4 .... it looked amazing. Enjoy your day Samantha xx

Hi Samantha, my word you are spoiling us, 2 uploads in 1 day 😁. That eye look is stunning! I ummed and aahed about which new palette to wear today and couldn’t decide so ended up using my primark large nudes palette 😂😂😂. I’ve also now purchased the bh cosmetics gilded palette and the zodiac palette too (I blame youtuber Anwen for the zodiac purchase). Really enjoyed the videos today and in both looks, I feel that the revolution palettes fared better than the ABH. I can’t understand how these companies can justify over £40 for eyeshadows when revolution produce superior products for less than a tenth of the price! What I say is long live the REVOLUTION ❤️😁❤️😁💖

Dear Sam, I love these dupe vídeos! Could you please make another kind of "dupe vídeo", in which you compare the Re-loaded palettes to the original ones (ABH, Urban Decay…), at least those you own, and make a comparison shade by shade? Like what you've been doing with the tutorials, as in Mulberry is shade no. 3 etc , but for the whole palette? I would love to watch and get a more insightful look at each of the shades and it's not easy to find that kind of vídeos. Thank you so much, you're lovely!

Thank you souch for this video..... I've been wanting the soft glam but the fact that majority of the colors are previously released colors it makes me side eye the 42$ price tag but I own the neutrals 2 and it's amazing so when I saw this I literally paused the video to order it lol
I placed an order with revolution beauty and like two days later these came out. My husband wouldnt let me place another order. I just got the order yesterday and LOVED EVERY THING! but now I want these! I have all the other ones, kinda have to have these. (What I tell my husband anyway haha) but I always order from the UK site, US site dont have the new stuff, dont have all the stuff. I WISH our drug stores sold revolution! And I could just run out and buy them all. Ulta sells some but not much.

Samantha Jaelle the US site takes forever to get the new stuff. But it honestly didnt take very long to get my order from the UK site and shipping was free over a certain amount. I just ordered so much I'm not allowed to place another order for a little while. Lol. There's so much stuff for so cheap though! I'll get these palettes, just have to wait. Would be nice to run out to a drug store here and pick them up though.... I also ordered the new too faced concealer and setting powder, hasn't got here yet, can't wait. Have you tried it?.... and btw THANK YOU for responding!!! You always do! I love that about you! I don't always comment but I'm usually always watching!
Heather Mullins Thank you, I haven’t tried the Too Faced concealer and setting powder. My holy grail is Revolutions conceal and define and the Obsession obsessive contour palette. That one has a few face powders which I use to set my face. 😘
Samantha Jaelle I LOVE the revolution conceal and define. It's better than tart shape tape I think and it's my go to right now. The too faced is suppose to be good, I'll try and remember to let you know..... setting powder I switch all the time, all the time trying different ones. Havent really found a go to yet. The kat von d loose setting powder is good but expensive. I got a freedom contour palette in my recent order and the powders look and feel nice in it. I also got a revolution pressed setting powder, gonna give them a go. I've never been disappointed in ANYTHING from revolution so I'm sure they will be good.
I cant wait to get these new reloaded palettes! I have almost all the ABH palettes except for the soft glam, just hadn't got around to getting it yet. But I think if I get this one I wont need it. Have you seen the new ABH purple palette!? (Cant remember the name) but its SOOOOOO PRETTY! and i know you like purple! If you get it I'd like to see your review plz! I'm probably gonna get it either way, it's too pretty to pass up.
Beautiful palettes. The only tradeoff I must say, is that these more affordable palettes tend to break apart quite quick.

Hi Sam, thank you for the review. However I'm really curious other than the color, will you be able to mention the pro's of ABH? Or maybe you can help us explain the difference because I am considering buying ABH for my birthday. I.e the longevity, is the color tend to muddy if mixed , if the color stay true or not etc. Because I've tried MUR palette and it is great indeed but I just wondering the difference... thanks!

Deborah Johnson As soon as I saw the Velvet Rose I thought “soft Glam” vibes. I’ve been whisked away for a day or 2 so have uploaded a day early. I love the look so much, I’ve taken away with me one palette and the Velvet Rose is the one I’ve packed....😘
