Quiet on set! 🙊 My iBanana was ringing off the hook today.. the team must've known I was caking this Banoffee Pie Cake 😂 Even though this is one of my favorite cake recipes, I rarely get to make it on the channel because it's hard to carve! But today is the day I get to eat alllll the cake scraps YUM!! 🍌🍰What's your favorite Layer Up! cake so far?? I really can't choose which one is my #1...
Just a quick question - how do u get a white chocolate ganache to be white and not creamy yellow? Is it just adding a little bit of cream to melt the chocolate and then adding the rest the way to do it? If yes, would that way be suitable to do a white chocolate drip with?
@@Maryam4726-l9p you can add a few drops of white gel food colouring to your ganache to cancel out the yellow tones! For a white chocolate ganache drip I recommend a ratio of 2:1 - 2 parts white chocolate to 1 part heavy cream 💛
Im crying happy tears knowing when i wake up every Tuesday i will see YOLANDA POSTING MORE CAKE VIDEOS I MISSED YOU SO MUCH….lovely way to start my mornings on Tuesday ❤️❤️❤️
Showed this to my 2 year old and as usual he screamed cake it yo yo!! And my husband said can I do that I said no honey I'm not yo lol we love you! 😘 from Ohio
It´s been YEARSS since I saw a video of Yolanda making a cake. I remember her using the ruler and having the pineapple walter? I´m so glad to know she still makes what she loves, to have heard her son all grown up and of coursee, returning to be an active viewer of such incredible cakes!!!
The caramelized condensed milk (or dulce de leche in spanish) is just the best. In Argentina we use it for absolutely everything. I love that you have to cook it to get it and we have them already cooked and in enormous quantities, always available. It's awesome to see those differences in cultures
I’m not a huge fan of cake … but I absolutely love watching How To Cake It! Mrs. Yolanda makes it look super easy and the outcomes are beyond amazing 🤩! I get a sweet tooth every time ! I’m so glad you’re back! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I so rarely see Yolanda make a mistake or be messy, her reaction at splatting some buttercream is exactly how I imagined she'd react 😆 I super respect her ways and yet I know she'd go mad watching me flail around my kitchen 😆 ✌️ 🎂
I love when Yo gasps dramatically bc I do that all the time too and people are always like 😨 are you okay?!?! So it's nice to see the team just laughing along with her bc they get it LMAO
Love this! The caramelized condensed milk looked so delicious. We call it manjar in Chile and we use it in so many dessert recipes. As a kid, I loved eating spoon fulls out of the can or on warm toast. Sooooo good! Love all these new cakes. We got your book and can’t wait to start caking!
That's not caramel tho, caramel is made differently (sugar and water) This is dulce de leche (sugar and milk) also called manjar, manjar de leche, arequipe and cajeta.
That looks amazing but almost sickeningly sweet 😂 but this cake is my absolute favorite! Like eat it every day favorite. I hate that style mixer, I will always use the small one with the lift top for that exact reason of not getting the bowl on lol
The way Yo gasped at a small spilled dollop of buttercream was just fantastic. It was so loud it sounded like she lost her channel, her family, and every cake recipe she’s ever made.
I know you can lay amazing fondant and very nicely coat a cake with buttercream but do you pipe? Like do you know how to make those pretty designs and flowers and all that good stuff?
What happened to the “offee” part of banoffee pie?! When I’ve made banoffee pie in the past, the whip cream has instant coffee whipped into it…. SOOOOO good!! I’d love to see this pie/cake with some coffee accents…
I need advice ASAP, I bought a nestling stand mixer from a second hand store and it works perfectly BUT the issue is that it didn't come with cleaning instructions so I put the beater in the dishwasher and all the shiny coating has gone, someone else says its oxidised, not sure if thats true but is there any way I can fix this? If not what would you advise? Can i even still use this beater? I can't find a replacement anywhere

Hey Yolanda, I have a tip. If your grocery has a Mexican food section, look for Dulce De Leche there. Saves on boiling the cans of milk.
Yummy that cake really looks delicious 😋😋😋😋

I’m so happy you’ve got new videos! I missed you! 💛🤎
Here in South Africa, we get our caramel already cooked in the can. So you buy it ready-made. We even get mint flavoured caramel. 😍🌺🎉🇿🇦
That's not caramel tho, caramel is made differently (sugar and water) This is dulce de leche (sugar and milk) also called manjar, manjar de leche, arequipe and cajeta.
@2:10 "One more push" killed me lmfao
Nice start.
I’ll wanna buy the IBanana 13 too. 😂
And that cake looks yummy too. 😁
Hurry! By the time you buy the iBanana 13 the 14 will probably be ripe and ready 😂

Miss Jocelyn!

I love you!❤🎉😇
Hey Yo, you should totally make a pumpkin pie cake for Thanksgiving! That would be super sweet! Or did you already do that one?
Make a banana bread carrot cake version with shredded carrots in the cake and frosting.
Early for one
R.I.P to all the headphone users when she shouted because a dollop of the buttercream fell while assembling the cake 💀‼️
Yolanda amo muito seus vídeos, mais gostaria que estivesse legenda em português 😘🇧🇷
First viewer for today💃💃💃💃
Hello, can you tell me how can I do the ganache chocolate?
Beautiful and I know Yolanda had a hard with not putting more decorations😂😂😂😂😂
You understand me 😅
I love naked cakes
I swear I love this channel… and I swear she’s high lmao .. ❤
I know you can lay amazing fondant and very nicely coat a cake with buttercream but do you pipe? Like do you know how to make those pretty designs and flowers and all that good stuff?
Not me thinking Burnadette was Mr Burns 😭
What do I do if I don't have that thingy to heat the bananas up?
If you don't have a torch, you can get a similar result by toasting them lightly in the oven! Just keep an eye on the colour so they don't burn :)
First!; okay, second **
What happened to the “offee” part of banoffee pie?! When I’ve made banoffee pie in the past, the whip cream has instant coffee whipped into it…. SOOOOO good!! I’d love to see this pie/cake with some coffee accents…
the "offee" is for toffee! 🤩
@@HowToCakeIt oh, right, of course!! 🤦♀️. Well, coffee whipped cream is still delicious…
