Omg me too I had to go buy the series several years ago. But they still left out a few of the episodes & sadly the website I got the series from doesn't exist anymore.

@@PaulLynde1926 Is Sony even interested in reissuing this show? They own much of the old Screen Gems TV shows, except for the 1957-1966 cartoon shows by Hanna-Barbera, which is now owned by Warner Brothers Television.

@@PaulLynde1926 In general, I believe that Paul’s talent was never fully realized. He should have been given more leading roles, including roles in feature films.

@@rytp4920yeah! I must say that I agree with you on that. Sadly they tried doing type casting & that did not fly with him. So he went back to Hollywood Squares & stayed there till the series end. I hated that the series ended because I learned a lot from it!

Paul Lynde and Pamela Ferdin both voiced characters in the animated classic "Charlotte's Web" (1973).

After having read "Charlotte's Web" together in class, I still remember traveling with my 2nd grade class into NYC's Radio City Music Hall to see the film version of "Charlotte's Web" during its initial theatrical run.

This is a rare show. Paul Lynde tried this show two times as "Temperature's Rising" in 1972, and "The Paul Lynde Show" in 1973. Both times, the show failed. Paul seems awkward playing a married man with a family during a time when people already knew he was a gay man. It's sort of funny (Bill Asher had just ended his long term project with "Bewitched" when he wrote this show with another Screen Gems employee, Harry Ackerman, who's been dealing with TV shows for Screen Gems since the late 1950's.) Too bad the end credits were abruptly cut off before the Screen Gems "S From Hell" logo. That would have made it complete.

He also tried "Howie!" Which was the reason he decided to start this up. The "Howie!" video will be uploaded when all of "The Paul Lynde Show" episodes are uploaded by me. :) Stay tuned for that.

@@PaulLynde1926 Wow, never heard of "Howie". Did that get beyond one pilot episode? Also, was it filmed around the time he played the annoyed dad in the Columbia movie "Bye Bye Birdie?" Paul was best when he was allowed to be himself and doing sly and sarcastic quips with just a slight hint of safe sexual innuendo. Playing on sitcoms seemed contrived, which is probably why these TV shows failed to find a big audience. Playing more broad and exaggerated characters like "Uncle Arthur' on "Bewitched" was more his speed rather than playing a harassed TV dad. "Bye Bye Birdie" was best when he played that type of TV stereotype. His role as Uncle Arthur no doubt impressed "Bewitched" co-creator Bill Asher to lead over to "Temperature's Rising" after "Bewitched" was cancelled in 1972. The show, like "Bewitched" also aired on ABC.

Well written! And performed! It should've took off. Network screwed up as usual🦝
