- A lesson about sextuplet tom rolls, specifically with respect to the the drum cover I do of Revenga by System Of A Down. I've a few questions about how to do these, so I hope this helps!
Please share this video!

I remember asking about the same issue in various videos for revenga as well. Thanks for the explanation
Helps amazingly! Thanks Kevan!
Thanks, Mike! I'm glad this can help! :)
Thanks for message! I was actually thinking about doing exactly that, so it's great to know that there might be some interest for it! It will definitely get done! ;)
Cool! I'm happy to hear that!
Excellent! I'm glad that I can help a bit! Thank you for the feedback! :)
Again, thanks for showing what seems so extremely hard and complex, and then explaining it so it's do-able. Keep it up. I actually would like to see a quick explanation for a good double-bass technique.
My pleasure! There will be lots more coming here! ;)
Again, thank you! I'm glad that you are able to take some value away from this! :) There will be LOTS more videos like this coming! As for good double-bass technique, I don't know that there is a "quick" explanation... haha It truly is a little more involved than that. I do have a whole video series on it, however! ;) I can start to work on some concise pointers that will help though...
Thanks for the lesson.
The first round of covers were shot from only one camera angle to show that they could be performed without any editing. Now that that is established, upcoming covers will have multiple angles. ;)
Hey Kevan, Im MrBlackout1998 haha, even though im a tad bit late, im so glad you made this video. If I hadnt gone back to see your SOAD drum covers(Im planning to do one) I would have not seen this video response! Thanks for responding :)
Davie! Great to hear from you! And thank you for the inspiration for this video! ;) Be sure to send me the link once you throw down a SOAD cover, I'd love to see it!
Sure thing! Thanks again :D
Thank very much:)
cool!
Hey Kevan! Could you make a lesson for the Hi-Hat, Ride and Snare part right after the sextuplet rolls?
Hey Kevan, I was wondering what you'd do with your paraiddles / diddles & your six stroke roll rudiments? I like to see pro drummers point of view of what they do with em :)
My sweet revenge? got it from the intro!!
Coming out of the ride hi-hat groove?....I'm not sure which fill you mean exactly. Or do you mean coming out of the rolls *into* the ride hit-hat groove?
gracias por el video me ayudo mucho, sabes? me gustaria mucho saber como haces el repique de entrada al coro, porque ese si se me hace dificil... espero entiendas español jejejejeje
whats the fill coming out of the ride hi hat groove? Paradiddles between the toms and snare?
Everything makes sense now.
can i do this in my ipad? i have drums in my ipad ^_^
