    The whole sneakerhead craze is no different than the Tulip craze.

    • @mctuna7058
      @mctuna7058 4 роки тому +1

      Learned some nice history rq thanks for that! But comparing the "sneakerhead craze" is lowkey disrespectful the history behind these sneakers and how they impact the fashion world and even day to day life in the future,if you don't believe me compare how we dressed 1990 to now,I'm not saying it's like a big thing that impacted the universe as it is but it has way more substance than something as shallow as the tulip craze :) (like fr some people really put their heart and soul into fashion and what you may think is insignificant but everyone lives differently)

    • @theylied1776
      @theylied1776 4 роки тому +1

      @@mctuna7058 No, it's not disrespectful at all. These sneakers have no real value other than their stated retail price. Given the fact they are constructed of low-quality synthetic material, they are mass-produced and machine-made. This is no different than the tulip craze. The actual per-unit price to manufacture each shoe is about $6 to $8.

    • @rustknuckleirongut8107
      @rustknuckleirongut8107 4 роки тому

      You can compare those two things once all the wealthiest people in the US starts dropping their fortunes into sneakers and a drop in sneaker prices comes close to wrecking the whole US economy. Until then, no, just no. Not the same at all.
      (Edited for spelling mistake)

    • @theylied1776
      @theylied1776 4 роки тому

      @@rustknuckleirongut8107 Apparently you have no idea what the Tulip craze was because my comparison is spot-on. Using the term tulip craze all I'm saying is that this market is artificially inflated, it's a bubble that is definitely going to pop.

    • @rustknuckleirongut8107
      @rustknuckleirongut8107 4 роки тому +1

      @@theylied1776 In your original post you basically did the equivalent of saying that a firecracker is the same as a nuke and now your being all "What I really meant is they both explode and you should have known the words I did not write". You should probably have elaborated you point a bit in your original post rather than just saying: "The whole sneakerhead craze is no different than the Tulip craze". The words need to be in the post rather than your mind for me to understand you. If you had said: Some, but not all of the underlying factors that caused the Tulip Craze is shared by sneaker culture to some extent. Then I would have understood it they way you think I should have understood it.
      (Edited to fix quotation)

    There is no “original” on the raging bull pack. They were a new color way that came with the 3m’s and the Red Suedes. “OG” color ways are exactly that, shoes that were coming out while Jordan was playing. Anything else is a retro. These are worth money in that condition, anywhere between 300 to 370 if OG all. Maybe Chum Lee needs to learn more.
