- Tons of work goes down in this episode! Fabricating a new skylight mount, deleting the factory vent, coating the roof, new led marker/reverse lights and even some wiring. I take a big step forward with this project and it feels good. Drop a comment below and tell me what you think.

Coming along great!
Thanks, next is the inside.
Loving the build. Watched the whole series and its given me a lot of inspiration for my own build... after watching the roof raise i cant imagine taking that on lol, unfortunately ill likely chop the top on the back to haul my side by side around with my family and make a comfy seating area in the existing cab. Keep up the great work bud
Thank you
Correct, there are DOT rules on marker lights. Orange/Ambler represents the front and sides of the vehicle and red for the rear. This applies to trailers also.
Thanks for the info
Did you ever think about making the flasher lights on the top of the bus into flood lights? Love the channel. I'm new here. I'm thinking about building a schoolie to haul my offroad rigs. Be safe and keep putting up the videos.
Thanks, I did that with the rear lights. I ordered some clear Led replacement lights and am super surprised by how bright they are. I didn't want them on the front for aerodynamics and to eliminate a possible leak. Good luck with your build.
Do you need a CDL to drive a bus even if it is only for personal use?
Nope, you don't need a CDL. Ever seen those guys with the giant million dollar motor homes with the equally giant double decker enclosed trailer behind it? They don't need a CDL either.
