INSPIRED BY a Tumblr user who asked for an animatic to this song... I hope this finds you my guy!

Well, if you want to be overly pedantic about it anyway, you could say:
Well, the title “I am become Christmas” alludes to the religious phrase used in quotation by Oppenheimer (the engineer of the atom bomb) when viewing the first testing of the nuclear weapon. This was when he realised that he had created the power to end the world, quoting “now I am become death, destroyer of worlds”. What it means for the album is a somewhat silly parody of the phrase whilst lending it’s way to the unsettling realities of a nuclear winter (suggested in song 3 in the EP, Aurora Borealis, with the line “apocalyptic snowflakes” and the manufacturing of the word “apocalove”, which ties in the nature of a cheesy hallmark Christmas movie as per the albums quirky nature).
Therefore, we have established the ties between Oppenheimer’s infamous and disturbing quote paired with the more absurd association with Christmas in a paradoxical angle, what leaves us with our connection to the Stanley Parable, you may ponder? TSP was made in counter to prominent video games of its era by being self aware and, in fact, a parody to the games that take themselves more seriously, offset by the heavy connotations of the nature of narrator to player to player character.
The narrator has the power to manipulate the story and bring it to an end; make void; death- as clear in the control ending, resetting repeatedly in the confusion ending, and various others. He has become, some would say, the embodiment of death, having to bear the weight of what he has built (his story) that causes destruction in an Oppenheimer type fashion. If further proof is needed, there are suggestions to a nuclear fallout in the skip button ending, which is linked to the Narrator’s disappearance. Perhaps he died before it. Perhaps he caused it? It all depends on how much control he has over his own story, but was Oppenheimer in full control of his own nuclear weapon? It could cause the end of life we know it and he would be powerless to stop it. This is no different.
Therefore, “I am become Christmas” perfectly sums up the Narrator in the Stanley Parable.
…I can’t believe I just wrote that as a sentence.

I love how in some frames the narrator is holding the script and in some he isnt.. like when Stanley was in the broom closet the narrator was just speaking his mind instead of relying on the script lmaoo 😭
The sequence of Narrator demanding Stanley not leave him alone, immediately trying (awkwardly) to make Stanley happy with him via the bucket romance room, and then becoming jealous of the bucket and yanking them over to the Zen Room instead... I have seen nothing that so truly captures the essence of the Narrator as this.
How you made the off button turn into the skip button as the narrator holds Stanley's arm and tells him not to leave him alone... I have a lot of feelings about this. Masterful. Also thank you for introducing me to this wonderful song, it's quickly becoming a favorite of mine ! ❤🥰

First of all, the movement is so good!! Seeing the narrator just jump around and the speech bubbles turn into one another is so cool!! The designs are also amazing! I didn’t know I needed sweater vest narrator in my life until now. And all the little details make it fun to go back and rewatch so you can catch everything! Stanley hitting his head and eating popcorn out of The Bucket were certainly highlights!

Oh my goodness!! This is absolutely wonderful. The Narrator’s expressions convey so much and the colours and scene choices detail and the design of the thought bubbles and the transitions and flow of it, and the way Stanley falls over when he reappears in the office at the end, this is phenomenal!!!! One of the best animatics I’ve ever seen
I just found out that the stanley parable had an epilogue like an hour ago and now i find this. I went from having an existencial crisis to being extremely happy and I have to thank the creators of this game for making such a mindbreaking experience, and also you for this espectacular animatic.
I can see all the love you put into it, this is just so incredibly beautiful. With the narrator starting off as just dialogue but even the text bubbles being animated, the representation of the narrator's loneliness and him dragging Stanley around, all the places and moments from the game, and even the epilogue...

Gorgeous artwork and framing aside, I love that the fanbase all collectively agrees Stanley is a total goofball. Look at that pure boi T-posing at the bottom of the Mind Control Facility. What a goober.
The montage of Stanley in different parts of the game and the Narrator changing expression with the dialogue that goes there was the best. I pretty much knew exactly which quote went where just by Narrator's expression lol

Narrator's movements are so natural and nice to look at! The 0:55 - 1:02 part really matches the atmosphere of the game

The character limit in the TikTok comment section is too small for me to describe how much I love this, so this is gonna be lengthy:
First of all, I ADORE the amount of detail and movement there is! The speech bubble transforming into the Narrator was so SMOOTH AND CLEVER. The way you depict the The Narrator floating around and guiding Stanley is such a fun concept to look at. Also, I love the way you touched upon the different endings (especially poor narrator crying over a review at 1:02 awhh). And the way you depicted Stanley being villainous at 0:52 is a nice touch - showing that both characters are capable of victimizing each other, not just the Narrator. The way you incorporated the lyrics is absolutely genius (“scented candles” = bucket in candlelight ending, “take the night off be joyful” = Zending, “I just had to share with someone” = Narrator’s loneliness/purposelessness without Stanley.) I could go on and on. Overall, this animatic would be a PERFECT synopsis of TSPUD because of how true it is to the core essence of the game. THE WHOLE FANDOM NEEDS TO SEE THIS, YOU DESERVE ALL THE LOVE :D

As someone who's recently been getting into The Stanley Parable and absolutely adores Lemon Demon (I Am Become Christmas especially!! CryptoSanta is one of my all-time favorite LD songs) I am shaking this is so good!!! I'm not sure what your process was for the backgrounds but they look amazing, I love the contrast between them and the character animation style!
The backgrounds where made by taking screenshots from the game and then editing and painting over them there was a few other steps involved but generally I tried to find a way to produce them as quickly as possible (as the animation for this project was extremely time consuming) :)

Oh wow, this is such a lovely animatic!! It's so fluid and the expressions are wonderful. I didn't realise this song would fit so perfectly, and lining the 'I knew it had to stop' part with the settings voice.
Your narrator design and how you incorporated him reaching into the action was incredible. Plus, the lil dancy dance for te zending room and his exasperation at Stanley through the various endings. Not to mention Stanleys face during them!!! I'm probably going to be rewatching this a lot.

im getting out my priceless silverware (plastic plates and steel utensils), wrapping my Dining Cravat (bib) around my neck, eating very refined (a dog would eat neater) and finding out that this food (animatic) is absolutely delicious (insert ratatouille scene).
I dont know if anyone noticed but when you bring the bucket to the Zending, when the Narrator tries to teach stanley what is and isnt a bucket, if you turn around theres actually a person standing in the stadium.

Hey! Every time I see another animator working on a Aurora Borealis animation, it reminds me of my own I’m working on now.
Granted I might never finish it and the little note of it taking 6 months, though, seems accurate. I’m allocating myself a year to finish it by Christmas to leave room for potential heavy work loads from my senior year in high school. This video brings me strength, however.

Damn. Now I have EXTRA reason to get this thing done by then. I always find it easier to finish art when other people are involved anticipating it (even just somewhat), so I’ll let that be my extra motivation. AWAY I VENTURE! Also, damn, fast reply. It’s one of those occurrences that gives you the same vibe as when you peel of the entire skin of, like, a mandarine in one go. And it doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it happens so rarely that it brings that moderate satisfaction of “cool”. And you probably think it and nod to yourself silently then continue playing Pokémon or something.

GOOD LORD. If I could consume your art style it would taste like chai. You’re INSANE at conveying emotion with body language. The animatic itself is really good at toeing the line between silly and series-just like TSP is!! This is definitely in the top 10 not for TSP, but for any animatics I’ve watched, which is quite a few. Thank you for making this!
