    I also wanted add, notice how Jinx takes Isha literally everywhere, she never leaves her alone. No matter how dangerous the situation is, like the situation with Warwick, Jinx takes Isha with her. This kinda comes back to how Powder felt when Vi abandoned her after being told, "You're not ready" by Vi. This shows that Jinx ultimately knows and trusts in Isha's strength, which leads to Isha's sacrifice.
    GOD I LOVE THIS SHOW...

      vi always knew and trusted in powder's strength and abilities, she literally just didn't want her to get seriously hurt or die on the one mission that could have very well lead to her death. it had nothing to do w doubting her, it had everything to do with keeping her safe. you see how vi allowed powder to come on other missions, and very obviously believed in and had faith in her, like that time she trusted powder to make that jump in ep. 1. plus, taking isha along on this mission literally lead to her death and downfall. not blaming jinx here, but now jinx can really understand why vi left her out all those years ago, to avoid smth like this happening.

    Also, the ending scene where Jinx is running towards Isha. Jinx couldn't get there because of Vi holding her back. I think it's ironic and a somewhat foreshadowing to the scene at the end of act 1 Season 1 with Powder and Vi. While Isha is about to die (as so we think) she's doing something unnecessary to 'save Jinx'. (Im not sure why she did that but, okay) Somewhat how Powder was trying to 'save' the crew when she released the Hex-tech bombs. And then, Silco finding her and taking her in. At this POV its Jinx being in Vis situation. I think its showing how much Isha reminds Jinx of Powder.

    • @JacobFors
      @JacobFors 2 місяці тому +19

      She did it to be like jinx I think. What Isha knows of her is the one who takes on the biggest person in the room so to speak hence the mirroring of jinx being carried away reaching like Isha in the prison scene when Jinx was ready to die. Tie that in with their first meeting where Jinx is talking about the buzzing behind the eyes before maybe death and the pow with the finger gun/ Jinx’s gun and she’s imitating her role model.

      @@juniper1350 Most of the Noxians had it under control. Jinx was far away from Vander and was somewhat 'safe'. In my opinion they could have just walked away successfully (maybe not sure) since no Noxians were coming after Jinx while she was on the ground. Also just making the connection between Powder and Isha.

    Considering the color symbolism we see in Jinx in the s2 trailer I'm betting that's a false dichotomy. She'll embrace both sides of herself and be more heroic but in a psychotic way ha.
    I think Isha did something for Jinx that you didn't quite call out, through Isha Powder loved Jinx unconditionally, and Jinx loved Powder too, with no self hatred etc that the name used to be associated with. In a twisted version of what Silco said, it may be that Powder/Isha had to die for Jinx to be her strongest self, but not because Powder was weak or causes her pain anymore, but so she could grow up.

    Isha FIXED Jinx. She healed her broken psyche and made her realize that she could be a hero. That was kind of the point of Ep. 4.
    This show tends to go where we don't expect and I have a feeling she will be "ok". Especially since she's had a bit of time to hash things out with big sis.
    I LOVED the "fight" they had in the cave, it was them getting years of bullshit out of their system and finally getting a chance to get back with Vander even for a little while.
    Jinx will have to deal with Isha's loss later, they have bigger problems currently. She doesn't have time to crack.

      I was wondering if the idea was to keep Jinx crazy but have Arcane give her a more heroic bend. So loss of Isha can have her go of the deep end but the motives could be different. Crazy hero versus crazy psycho type of deal.

    Ironic how Powder used the Hex Cores is the same as Ishas way of going out, too much Hex Cores

    • @PillowEgg
      @PillowEgg 2 місяці тому +1

      Powder used 3 unstable hex crystals while Isha is using 3 stable crystals. If the show sticks to the logic displayed in Season 1 Episode 4 where Jayce said the crystals are perfectly safe after striking it with a hammer, then Isha will be just as safe. Now if they ignore such detail, and Isha is expected to die and create that sacrifice then Fortiche will betray the audience with the seeds they planted early. We'll see... from a writing perspective I would expect this as a fake out to generate an audience emotional reaction, but logically she should be fine and reward viewers who paid close attention.

    • @Dotsforall
      @Dotsforall 2 місяці тому +8

      @PillowEgg you are overlooking a key detail of any tech, it can be overloaded. The crystals themselves may be stable but the energy they are producing due to jinx weapon is not. Just like her shark bomb.
      The weapon takes one crystal to off someone with a single shot. The shots were strong enough to wound Warwick to the point he had to regenerate. Now, Isha, in that moment, popped three into it and fired. The blast output and radius are going to be way more powerful.

    One thing about these characters becoming how they are in game is riot stating arcane is the new official cannon.
    That said they might be somewhat different then their current ingame personality. Like viktor, he didnt replace limbs with machines. He has become the machine organically, save his face which i believe is when he will take on the mask he is known for in game. Also, He now seems to have a tie to the void. Where he did not before.

    I personally believe the lost of Isha is going to be what puts everyone back on the same side against the red army, kate lost her mother due to jinx, jinx lost isha due to kate, vi lost vander again possibly but so did jinx making them all equal in lost and blame (in a sense)
    The focus of all that pain and fallout will be the red army. Then the geater threat of what viktor will do once he rez in the fountain lol

    At least this time Jinx would have Vi by her side now while mourning Isha. So I think it serves to say that the show might do their own thing and create a version of Jinx that is a combination of Powder and Jinx.

  • @silverrrr2992
    @silverrrr2992 2 місяці тому +1

    I have hope that jinx could have a (somewhat) ending. it seems like thats what the story is building up to. in the act 3 trailer, vi says “if you come use all that explosive potential of yours for good, maybe we could rewrite your story”. and it seems like jinx will do this at least to me. it would be symbolic since the “death of powder” made jinx into jinx, so the death of isha who is very obviously a parallel to powder making jinx into a healed version of jinx would be pretty sweet and satisfying as and ending imo

    according to Riot August, in the original lore Jinx was a troublemaker because she was initially the older sister and she knew that Vi was her sister but Vi didn't know of Jinx was her sister. And the reason she kept getting in trouble was to spend quality time with Vi
    Jinx even has the line "you think I'm crazy? you should see my sister" referring to Vi while Vi has no quote with the word "sister", Vi only has quotes for Cait while Jinx has quotes for both Cait and Vi
    The final point is that while Jinx is over the top crazy as a criminal, so is Vi over the top crazy as a cop, she was the parody for police brutality, they changed her ability names "Excessive Force" and "Assault and Battery" were renamed to "Relentless force" and "Cease and Desist" in October 2021.

But it would make sence maybe cait will say something unhinged bc of the death of her mother and vi will stick to her which would make sence as vi and jinx hate each other in league lore but warwick/vander will live prob only losing his face, which could be the making of singed again viktor is jesus so he will reincarnate (or singed and jayce built him back together (bc singed has to get the idra of building ori) and then viktors evil redemption arc will come......but i want isha to live, best character in the whole series

    I'd like to point out something. To truly become a symbol you must lose yourself. At least according to V for Vendetta. So for Jinx to become symbol of Zaun she has to disregard her humanity (Powder), just like V (oh the irony) abandoned his human side to become the symbol that inspired Brits to revolt against oppression. And it feels like Isha knows this as she was setting up the return of Jinx from the very beginning.

    But am I really the only one who thinks that Isha is nothing more than a plot feature that doesn't evoke a drop of emotion?
    I don't even want to say that the whole second season is too hasty and messy.
    It was a big mistake to end the series on 18 episodes. It just feels like the third season was necessary.

    • @gothgirl2245
      @gothgirl2245 2 місяці тому +1

      I definitely feel like they're squishing alot of plot into a small space, and whilst that does mean alot of things aren't able to breathe I don't feel like it's dropped the quality. As for Isha, there's a while category of characters who are plot devices instead of characters and I feel like Isha sits on that fence. In the original proposal with more seasons I firmly believe she would escape that pigeon holing and be a very fully breathed character, but I still feel even in the current constraints she is more nuanced than your standard Fridged device. She has motives and wants that conflict with Jinx and you can see glimpses of a whole nuanced perspective that is used to solidify her character identity; her scenes don't ONLY exist just to prompt Jinx. She's given screen time so audiences connect with her, and her scenes with Jinx are just as much about Isha as they are Jinx. She's a character that represents the treatment of children in conflict, even when being nurtured by fellow (older) children of conflict. There's alot to explore and it's sort of shown.

    • @redstarflight8337
      @redstarflight8337 2 місяці тому +1

      @@gothgirl2245 I would not say that the quality has not suffered. This has particularly affected Caitlyn. Then she broke off all relations with Vi and became almost a dictator, so all of a sudden she has an affair with that girl from the Peacekeepers. What was that all about? There was not even a hint of this, they did not even have a normal conscience scene. Caitlyn turns out to have just taken and replaced Vi as a thing, without even hesitating. Then, when they met again, there was not a single hint of their split. Caitlyn just decided to help the one who prevented her from avenging the death of her own mother. I hope that at least this topic will be developed in Act 3, otherwise it will be very stupid and Caitlyn essentially began to suffer from bipolar or short-term memory.
      Or the big guy with the shield that Vi was drinking with? Who is he, why did he help? Why did you go to Zaun with everyone? Did they just take him and accept him as a Peacemaker? Just like that? At his own request? What kind of military organization is this that accepts just anyone into its ranks? Well, where did he go after Act 1 and after that quarrel with Vi in Act 2? Honestly, this guy is as useful as a dog's fifth paw.
      I'm not saying that the second season is bad or terrible. No. It's still a very good show, made with soul. But I'm starting to get the feeling that the authors made a big mistake by deciding to end the second season. There is also an excessive amount of nonsense from the Woke culture added, which spoils the impression of the characters. Season 1 handled this much better and more adequately.
      Have you heard the statement from Fortiche themselves? They didn't want to stretch the series and then move on to other stories, talk about other characters from LOL. And this is commendable. But not in this way. Rushing to cram all the ideas into a series that was supposed to go on is a very bad decision.
      As a result, they couldn't even tell Silko's backstory properly. Everything is abrupt there and leaves a lot of questions.
      And as for Isha. Well, she didn't arouse any emotions in me. Showing that children are suffering because of all the horrors that are happening in their world is a very good solution that adds realism. Yes, Isha helped Jinx become a slightly nicer person, she was no longer alone. But for all the time that she was assigned in the series, I did not feel any affection for this girl. I do not know who she is. I don't know what she's capable of, what she feels, what she's been through. And as a result, at the end of episode 6, I felt sorry for Jinx. But not Isha. If they gave Jinx a pet instead of this child, nothing would have changed at all.
