90s men were so devoted they made videos in all kinds of hazardous conditions and we didn't appreciate it enough now in 2023 our crying isn't even the same lol 😆😂 .
@@jasmindavous280I know right men were in the desert boiler rooms and beyond singing in the rain and we didn't act right that's why they won't sing to us anymore because we act like a fool 😂.
It was also a mellow and warm environment with great lightning for that shooting. Great concept by the director. This also has plenty of metaphors, such as the dedication of hard-working men, devoted to work for the love of their life, or simply reflecting the title "deep down" as they are located deep down in the ground.
I am just recently discovering this group and they are incredible! These harmonies are top tier. The production is fire. They're the total package. I would love to see them join the other groups from this time period that have been reuniting and performing again.💐
Definitely an underrated group. I honestly don't know why they didn't blow up. Music was at it's peak then. With all these hideous class rejects in the industry now, it makes me appreciate the New Jack Swing era of yesterday. Sigh. Where is the good music?
Poorly promoted is the only thing I can think of, because, for all intents and purposes their first LP was an instant classic, their second and imo one of the greatest rnb albums to ever be made, was imho Al B Sures best work to date. The vocals especially Cross's runs could give Jodeci a run for their money.
MAN , LADE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BLACK MALE R&B GROUP FROM THE 90'S ERA OF BLACK R&B MUSIC, BUT THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS BY THEM, I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM , PS MISSING BLACK R&B 90'S ERA MUSIC 😔🎤.
@@autumnsmith9091 yes he has and his voice is sooo amazing I really enjoy listening to him his voice just gives me the feels he does so well with his writing the second ladae release was good also.

I love this one too I just came here after listening to party 2nite first too my boyfriend gets sick of me listening to ladae ! so much I bet he thinks I'm crazy lol 😆.
Ladae didn't come to play this song is so relatable I've been through the situation he's describing in 94 I had no idea this song would end up mirroring my life for real lol that's crazy !!!.
Ladae - The Moment '94 - An impressive entry by a group of fearless singers and songwriters. LADAE! - LADAE! '96 - Al B Sure! And Eddie F's best work on any album PERIOD!
Agreed, and the Ladae album was the biggest find of the 90's. Clearly the BEST R&B album very few heard. Other than Private Times, Al B. and Kyle West's best production. Period.
I love the look of this video it has a cinematic vibe no wonder that's the case Antoine Fuqua directed it I'm a huge fan of his movies especially the equalizer .
You can also check some of his stuff from Morrison Slick, or songs he's written such as "Get it On Tonight" by Montel Jordan or "Whereareyougoing" by Musiq Soulchild.
@Christina Street nope it sure isn't but he did look like a 90's version his swagger ,mannerisms and the hat thing did remind you of ne-yo though plus Ne-yo was once in a male group called envy before he went solo as an artist and a songwriter.
Ladae sang down I don't care I'm playing this forever and a day 😂😂.
Antoine Fuqua directed this clip no wonder I liked the cinematic type of feel he's done one of my favorite movies called the equalizer!!

ahhh, so many memories listening to this. Thanks for putting this online 😎
No, that's singer/songwriter TL Cross. He's one of the best cats to ever bless the music industry and the world, period.
Yes he is TL is extremely talented he just got an ascap award in 2022 for his contributions to music..
So underrated saw them live at the Jacob Javits center and what you hear now is what I heard there an amazing underrated group 90s RnB golden era.
