Thank you for letting me watch. I saw your work on Facebook today and I had to find you. I use to paint in oils and then acrylic and only one watercolor. I have been wanting to paint again since I am retired. I have the acrylics but I just look but I think with what I saw you do I will work hard at getting going again. Do I need to do anything to the board before I paint? While you were painting you would leave the cavance (?) and go to something to the right and then go to the color. What did you go to? Do I need to put water on the brush. Thank you for your help in making me feel I could do it. I will subscribe. You paint beautifully.

Hi, I appreciate your comment, and I am so glad that you like my creations. Basically, I buy double primed canvas. However, I apply a layer of gesso again to avoid the texture and make it soft. If I work on the wood panel, I use clear gesso. Once it is dry, I sand it. That's the normal procedure I follow with canvas and wood. Come to Painting, I Moist my brush whenever required, I didn't try with any mediums. Hope my reply is helpful.
