The ideal rotation for Nimrod would be sp1 for both the effects for more power to gain and additional dmg on your main attacks and specials for ezier rampup, then sp 2. At 10 charges in your armor phase, i think thats when u switch to blitz protocal for more dmg along with the energize vulnerability debuff. Love the vids 🙏

I wish he could pause his buffs and debuffs during special attacks of both champions, but ig that would be a bit too busted due to the amount of shock dmg being dealt. I also think he is pretty good against non mutants as well, but deff not noodle dmg by any means with or without suicides, but if there shock immune, then gg ig, but still solid.

War Machine's pre-fight will make the shocks longer and make Nimrod even stronger. That might be worth a second look. 👍🏾
That special one is extremely important for the rotation from what I’ve seen since it placed an energy vulnerability on the opponent and an energize on nimrod so he can get to sp2
Nimrods block animation and sp 3 were very well made. Kabam designed him well in terms of what Nimrod is supposed to do. And that's destroying mutants. Not the best but not the worst champ.

I feel if they gave his heavy attack the ability to refresh shocks so he could stack them that would let him have more ramp up potential and perform better in non-mutant matchups making him a lot better with a pretty simple change.
Edit:they would also have to increase the shock duration as well because they've mostly expired at the end of the special 2
Yeah, I wish his heavy had some sort of effect, for eg. Similar to Kingpin when he lands 2 or 3 heavy's inna row to get a fury, he can use a heavy once for bonus energy dmg on his base attacks, but it would be 30% of his attacks as red dmg but it would be perma, like Herc.
He looks so shiny and smooth.. 100/100 a must have in MCOC...😂
He's a great regen counter. He's got the power control and the safety net of the Cowardice debuff to block and tank special attacks along with armour ups. Optimal rotation can make his damage feel even God Tier imo. He's meant to be OP against mutants as he's in the comics. He's an all-round well made champion imo. It would take a while in realising his potential as he himself takes a while ramping up initially.
I’m betting that in the future they add a synergy for him to gain armor up buffs faster.
Or synergy that gives debuffs w his heavyattacks. Maybe if they add bastion in the future
I feel like it would make sense, and be funny, if Nimrod applied an incinerate on his heavy since Sentinel applies the shock on the heavy and incinerates on the sp2.
He’s like torch, but for fighting mutants, except torch works against all energy matchups and even non energy with the prefight. Overall tho, good champ

If I remember correctly, you're not playing perfectly. You have to throw sp1 as well before sp2.
Him torch and mags handle mystic, mutant and tech, now we need heavy cosmic and skill counters

The rotation is off Seatin watch the deep dive you want to throw the sp 1 to get the energize and energy vulnerability
Exactly I watched that deep dive and as one comment also pointed out same as you he needed sp1 and then build to sp2 and by that time he will have 10 stacks and with energy vulnerability it will deal massive dmg regardless of opponent class mutant or not.
Nimrod sounds like something you'd hear at a kindergarten fight
Kabam shall listen to Seatin and Lagacy thoughts and hopefully a tier list after King Groot gameplay buffed. Maybe nodes that actually helps robots out there as well as damage.

Actually for non mutants, it's better to use SP1 at the right time to place energy vulnerability and energize so that SP2 hits harder

Unpopular opinion. Nimrod seems like exactly what he was in the comics. Mutant slayer. But I was hoping he would have more of an apoc for tech effect.
@ODIN check the lore. Nimrod is the mutant slayer. So it would make sense if he United the #robots and/or #metal against mutants. And this really just seemed like a good opportunity for kabam to shake up the meta again. But they didn’t.
Kabam should do like a pre test of the champion. In the sense that players use the champions for around two weeks at least and then make any changes to make the champion live up to players expectations.
You haven't still realised his rotation is off go watch Dave's Nimrod deep dive. Infact I could tell you what he did wrong. If you want to know.

I feel like nimrod might have been better when they designed him but before this month's release they nerfed so as not to break the game like what Hercules , because nimrod's animations look amazing but it feels like certain things are lacking for example the heavy is insanely cool but you wouldn't use it because it serves no purpose. his damage is also lacking a bit it could be higher if they made the energy vulnerability on his sp1 more potent and stackable and the debuffs on his sps could do something like become permanent passives if you intercepted the opponent with your specials or something similar to Apoc where all his debuffs become permanent and more potent on the sp3 .
Well that's just my 2 cents I'm not saying I dislike the character it's just that he doesn't really stand out and not really unique which for nimrod should actually be the case

it looks like he does some big sp2 damage but then the fight still goes on for a whole other build up because the damage just seems to dissapear. so whats the point of building up if you need to do it all over again. looking at this with no experience with the character myself. sentinal looks better because he ramps up and stays there.
Kingslayer did a damage comparison and nimrods damage is much better than sentinel

Honestly i hate kabam for such champ design, its ok that he is a mutant killer but champs like corvus CGR and medusa are weak against him due to his armor break potency reduction.

that's because he is a sentinel. In fact, the Nimrod sentinels were responsible for wiping out all mutants in an alternate future in the Days of Future Past storyline

He's not Seatin played him completely wrongly that's why he had no dmg. It's like saying Quake does no dmg while playing him normally and not quake style.
