I love your care and ideology! E. Fuscus has always been my fav subspecies, always had an ignorant predisposition that Hardwickii were overrated. This totally opened my perspective of them!! So much more interested in these guys now. I just got a pair of fuscus and they blow me away just like you described w this gurl 💖
I care for hardwickiis different than leopard geckos. There isn't much info on them. It seems they like humid conditions (entire cage). I don't use under tank heat mats. I use above tank and a Uvb. I keep them a lot cooler than my leopard gecko. Tank is 65 to 80% humidity. And about 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. I could be wrong how I take care of them but this is what I've learned about there natural habitat

So they are their own individual species and not a subspecies
