Abby wanting to play a shuffled BOTW is a bit silly considering that there aren't really any items to shuffle. You get everything at once and after that it's just weapons and armour.

i was already on my 7-day trial but this video is what convinced me that i finally have to pay up and get giant bomb premium, hoping this ends up as a series!
So yeah, alttp rando is done to be beatable by casual players so no glitch is required nor navigating in dark rooms without torch, ever. You can do it if you're good enough and that can speed up the run, but it's never required. As far as minigames are concerned, the only ones that give n item are the chest minigame in dark world thief village (but you're guaranteed to win on your first attempt) and digging game (you have to dig between 1 and 30 times in an attempt to get the item, that's still random, but you're supposed to be able to win every single time if you don't mess up). Also, for anyone wanting to try the randomizer out, I'd recommend using one of the numerous available tracker the first time around, it's easy to miss something and get stuck. (Like, in this run you missed a bombable wall in the well of kakariko, along with forgetting doing the right side of Eastern palace. Might not be a big deal, might be a big deal.)
Yeah, the easy mode gives you better weapons and drops, but you still need to know where every chest is. You can generate games with spoiler logs to look up where items are if you get stuck.
Unfortunately Nintendo loves to take legal action against any fan-made versions of their games. I don't think they would support this in a million years.
I think this would have been better if there was a second person there with LttP knowledge, but it was still pretty cool. Gonna have to look into picking this up.

Skimmed through the video. They seemed kinda bored. Not sure if it's a good showcase of GB Premium content. If it is representative, then it's an easy skip for me.

Love LTTP Randomizer! I hope Nintendo officially supports this in the future. A LTTP Rando on the switch would be amazing!

Playing Link to the Past for the first time and LoTP is maybe a perfect video game. It's not my favorite of all time, but it's very good.
