This Eclipse is equipped with the base 2.4L Sohc 4 Cyl making 162 HP while paired to a lame 4 speed auto....
I have the 2008 GT model, all leather interior, fully loaded and it's a very fun car to drive, and has some decent power to it. The Transmission to Engine torque ratio is amazing for a car of this value. It's my fourth Mitsubishi Eclipse, too ('99, '01, '01, and now '08).
I think these are underappreciated and underrated cars and it's a shame they don't sell and they're ending production. I'd take a black or white coupe over Scion TC.
For everyone saying it’s slow well no fucking shit. Not everyone cares about having a fast car. Sometimes it’s just for looks

The Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero was a death trap too. It lacked armor plating and self sealing gas tanks resulting in many avoidable fatalities all in the expense of better handling and performance. So it runs in the companies history.
@Intechdude300 What other cars could you suggest? The only cars I've been looking at are the Lancer, Eclipse, Scion Tc, and the Tiburon..

This car was rated 1 star by Car and Driver. This is slow and underpowered. You can get something that's actually fun to drive with more power for about the same price.

the nissan GTR Also has a sub between the seats....a middle seat wouldnt do much good lol theres not enough room for two people letalone three.
@Intechdude300 It's also funny that Hyundai used to learn and adapt technologies from Mitsubishi and look at today, which company/group is more successful? (Hyundai and Mitsubishi are large conglomerates (groups) in Korea and Japan) Obviously Hyundai is. Sorry, I am a nerd.
its called a 2008, but interior looks like something from 1999..... at least the dash has some soft touch though, i was suprised :O
