- Finally made the trip to Apache Lake AZ. Road condition is okay, majority is dirt road, beach wash, narrow, and rocky. Recommend vehicle w/ good ground clearance, all terrain tires, 4x4 or AWD.

Honestly love going to this lake but I miss the old rd on the other side
...they're supposed to be having a meeting about fixing/open the road coming from Canyon Lake, hope it passes
Now I know that is a trip I can’t take.
....w/ the big truck and trailer, it would be trying....coz some parts are really narrow, specially some acute turns...

no, you have to go around at Roosevelt lake to go to Apache
