I'm a fan of plane spotting, so it's nice to see some representation from good ol' SLC from my home state while I'm living overseas. The A330 at the end was nice!
I agree, that A330 was nice! I'm glad airlines are starting to send bigger aircraft to SLC. If you don't mind me asking, where overseas are you living?
@@HDTravelAviation Near Berlin, Germany. Not sure if you're familiar with the Berlin-Tegal airport? It's been closed for a couple years now, replaced by BER, but in its day Tegal had one of the best plane spotting venues anywhere, with its large outdoor deck on top of the terminal. Went there a few times myself to plane spot.
Hey everyone! I don't know if people are still watching this video (views are lower than usual) but If you haven't seen my latest community post, I am flying to New York in less than 2 days, so that means that there will be at least two trip reports coming your way on this channel within the next month! I also might do an airport tour of both SLC and JFK but I am still deciding on that. Anyway, hope you enjoy your upcoming week!
When I was a kid in the 60s and 70s growing up in SLC, we would go to the excellent plane watching lot and spend some time. Back then it was mostly Western Airlines with some United and Frontier thrown in. So this was a nice remembrance of that. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! It's interesting that you mentioned Western Airlines, because SLC was a hub for them before they merged with Delta back in 1987. That's why you see mostly Delta at SLC today!

That’ll be awesome! Have fun in New York!
Your videos are excellent! I’ve given you a sub so that I can catch these upcoming trip reports!
@@BelizeanOnBoard thank you very much!

Terrific!
Thanks!
Good work. I like the larger flight info in the left corner plus you leave it up long enough to actually read!
This. I love the attention to detail.
Thank you!
One of the most beautiful airports in the world I feel!
I will be flying to Salt Lake City. What spots do you recommend the most (Btw I am arriving there by a330).
What location do you plane spot from? I'm in town visiting family and would love to get some video.
This video was filmed at the Hyatt Place located at 52 Tommy Thompson Road. If you have any more questions, please ask!
He’s back! Great video with fantastic photography! I love the pan of the airport at the first.
I'm from Utah! :)
So glad to see more content, Mate!
Hey! Have you uploaded the footage you took of the A330 coming in from London on May 15? Look forward to seeing it
Next time you wanna go spotting, let me know and I’ll take you to a very good spot where there’s no trees or anything
