stood the same spot in 1968, stayed in luxury tents, we were there during a full moon August 26/8/1968. What a wonderful place, rowed up the Zambesi.Fleqw over the falls, a great sight.
Thoroughly enjoying your vlogs! You and Ben have easily made Africa sky rocket to the number one spot on my list of must visit places. Love how down to earth both of you are too!
Nicole, you are doing an amazing job capturing everything. We went on a very similar overland from Cape Town through Namibia and Botswana to Vic Falls last year. Next year we will start at Vic Falls and go up the east coast. I'm so looking forward to your videos so I can preview the trip! Thank you! Keep it up!
I wanna say, "more often plz!" But it's okay to wait, it is more important you guys to have more fun travels! Thanks always for sharing Nicole! Always waiting!
I'm loving all the videos. I really love how you never skipped a beat and continued with the phone. I noticed you taking pictures with a proper camera in Ben's Vlog. Did your friend bring you a proper camera? Keep it up and safe travels.
Great video! Been loving all the trip vlogs from the whole squad. Good vibes all around, looking forward to the next one! On another note- you're making me take my phone much more seriously as a filmmaking tool. Been making excuses not to film stuff since I don't have "good" camera, but you're inspiring me to pick up my phone and hit record, so thanks!
Awesome to hear, thanks Anant :) Yeah, the new phones do an incredible job...it's just hard to zoom in for wildlife content, but for everyday city stuff, its great. Look at SP's stuff for example, every vlog is filmed on his phone!
You (,Ben&SP) are really inspiring me to explore Africa. Can't wait to get there. You're creating really stunning content on UA-cam and Instagram. Thanks for that👌🏻
I'm so happy! I don't know how else to describe it but these vlogs are amazing, Nicole! Super proud of you and Ben for creating such beautiful content. I've been telling everyone I know about your adventure. Oftentimes I reference facts and bits of information you mention in passing - I'm able to learn more about the world and teach others, as well! Sending ALLLLLLLL of the love
aj gere Your comment made me so stoked to read :) Thank you, that was exactly one of the main motivations for me doing this trip, to shed the good side of these places so I'm stoked that you're spreading the word too! Thanks for watching x
Mosi-Oa-Tunya Falls are spectacular! I regret not having visited these falls during my African trek. Something to do when I return. :-) An iPhone has a digital zoom. But, it's not as elegant as a telephoto lens.
I CANNOT WAIT for the Mana vlogs to come out! This trip of yours is making me feel both to nostalgic and so jealous at the same time! looks like an absolute banger!
Ah man! I have some bad news, I actually didn't vlog in Mana Pools...I just wanted to enjoy the experience for what it was without my camera, but I think that Ben vlogged on our most exciting day there :)
Done more or less the same route myself and love your videos (both yours and Ben's). There's just nothing like travelling through Africa. One thing, can you put episode number on your films please, easier to know what we've seen and what we've got to look forward to. All the best to both of you !!!
I've been loving your vlogs lately! Always happy when you upload. And you're making me want to road trip around Africa but I wouldn't even know where to start, so I'll start with road tripping my own country hahaha. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks Hails :) I've been loving editing these, although I'm super far behind. The best part is yet to come from Kenya though, so I"m excited to put those out! P.S Road tripping in your own country is always a good start :) x
The horrible British accent you're referring to is the Essex accent, giving me some serious flashbacks to living there for university aha can't wait to see the rest of your adventure!!!
I'm really enjoying these videos, would it be possible to put a date I the videos because it is quite hard to work out when the video was filmed. Keep it up
Alex Young they're so far behind that I've lost track. A week with Cam, a week with Steve & Alexia and 2 weeks filming VV. I estimate these events happened a month ago. 🤷🏻♀️
Every time I watch your vlogs, I feel the great need to travel where you are/have been. I guess that's a sign that you make a good video. 😁 Uh, they accept:use US $?🤔
Hi Nicole ? Did Cam hook you up with a new camera or lens no need the phone video is good thanks for bringing me via video with you all peace be safe ? Cam have web page to view his point of view of hair trip with you and Ben. Peace. Jo
jose perez Hey :) He brought me my old Canon G7X from home, which I start to vlog with from the next vlog. He doesn't have a web page unfortunately but you can follow his Instagram, links are in the description.
"Zimbabwe's central bank allowed its citizens to exchange the country's almost worthless currency for US dollars. Its 100-trillion-dollar note is worth just 40 U.S. cents."-WSJ
So throughout most of Africa, US dollars are widely accepted and used in the more touristy places, for example all national parks that we have been to, the rates, park fees & accommodation are charged in US dollars (which unfortunately makes it quite hard for Africans to travel with the terrible exchange rate & high prices).
Dee Shaffer US dollars are commonly used through Africa, particularly in the touristy parts such as national parks (You'll see in the upcoming vlogs). So when the Zim Dollar went for a ball of poop, I guess the US dollar made the most sense to implement as their currency, also it's pretty stable.

Thoroughly enjoying your vlogs! You and Ben have easily made Africa sky rocket to the number one spot on my list of must visit places. Love how down to earth both of you are too!

Was there at Vic Falls this year on the Zambia side, it really is incredible!
Love the blogs Nicole, keep up the hard work!
Brooks Victoria Falls on the Zambian side is incredible and you get a much better closer view from there than the Zim side.
I'm loving all the videos. I really love how you never skipped a beat and continued with the phone. I noticed you taking pictures with a proper camera in Ben's Vlog. Did your friend bring you a proper camera? Keep it up and safe travels.

Your English accent banter sounds like a sketch on little Britain. V funny! Excellent v-log! 😀

Matthew Bayly Yoh, slowly but surely 🙈
Done more or less the same route myself and love your videos (both yours and Ben's). There's just nothing like travelling through Africa. One thing, can you put episode number on your films please, easier to know what we've seen and what we've got to look forward to. All the best to both of you !!!

Manuel Marzolla Thanks Manuel :)
If you get the chance, go to South America and explore Iguazu Falls. It's absolutely stunning on both the Argentinian and the Brazilian side.
Ulrike Pehlgrimm I would love to :)
Been watching for a while and now have subscribed. Finally.
Welcome to the family :)
I think your British banter is adorable!
Victoria falls looks amazing!
Love it!
Nice editing! The falls looks... wet.
Omygosh is Cam safe in a tent? He could really be "bait"! Great vlog though, loving this adventure. ✌🏽
woooooo love your content and inspirational videos!
Jean E. Thank you :)
The horrible British accent you're referring to is the Essex accent, giving me some serious flashbacks to living there for university aha can't wait to see the rest of your adventure!!!
Jack Kelly Haha, I kind of like it :) Thanks for watching!
Nicole where did you get your glasses? I love them!! 😍
eblalgen yes, exactly a simple date at the beginning of each video would be really nice
The lodge looks amazing. Have they got a website to look at?
Liam McLoughlin I linked it in my previous vlogs description :)
I love that crazy talk. :D
Love the Cockney/Michael Kaine accents 😉
Oh, wow!
Every time I watch your vlogs, I feel the great need to travel where you are/have been. I guess that's a sign that you make a good video. 😁 Uh, they accept:use US $?🤔
With each video, Ben's hair gets even longer hahahah
Love your vlogs! Thanks for sharing!!!!! Btw, was your stuff back at the hotel?
It was indeed :) And it had been washed!
I love the silly English accents. Especially from Nicole.
You guys are both silly buggers hahaha
I love my country. #Zimbo
Cameron was having a terrible time figuring out his sleeping pad. I hope he conquers it before Mana Pools!
Pumba did not let me hear Nicole.
American Dollars, yeah.
Sneakin that seatbelt on....
On Which side are the actual Falls really located? Zim or Zambia??
@@NicoleEddy1 ok thanks so much. I'm Zimbabwean but I've never been there 😅
Wishing to visit when I get back home
I like the vlog but is it just me feels the mic abit off?
SeanSiewVlog Yeah, I'm having difficulties with my phone mic. But from the next vlog, the audio is sorted out.
All good :)
what's the deal with the US currency?
"Zimbabwe's central bank allowed its citizens to exchange the country's almost worthless currency for US dollars. Its 100-trillion-dollar note is worth just 40 U.S. cents."-WSJ
So throughout most of Africa, US dollars are widely accepted and used in the more touristy places, for example all national parks that we have been to, the rates, park fees & accommodation are charged in US dollars (which unfortunately makes it quite hard for Africans to travel with the terrible exchange rate & high prices).
True story! Zimbabwe has fully exchanged their Zim Dollars and replaced it with US dollars.
can't wait to try and replicate your trip
Nicole Eddy Thanks for the explanation! I was surprised to see you get your change in USD at the park.
Very weird seeing American dollars over there. I wonder why that is the chosen currency.
Interesting, thank you. We'll be glad to hear our dollar is stable, lol.
