Rokas most NBA ready
A couple notes I would add regarding Hukporti - very impressive ‘old school’ footwork/ drop step in the low post. That said, you could see they started forcing him to try to finish with his right hand, which seems like a major weakness for him.
I like Koleks potential but you can see hes not ready to be in the rotation with Thibs. On offense he moves the ball great but on defense he just doesnt have it. Hopefully in time he can be a pest on defense. Rokas is decent but I just dont see him getting time over Payne. I believe he would want to be at least the back up point at this point.
He needs to show he can play some good defense. The great defense is the only thing he lacking. Thibs requires defense out of every player
Half agree. It's not always GREAT defense. It's more like effort and team defense for thibs.

Ariel has the reputation coming out of the Australian and German leagues as an exemplary rebounder and shot blocker. I think he is lacking conditioning. He also seems to lack proper defensive positioning. Often he was simply out of positioning to put pressure on the opposition under the rim.

Interestingly, those that were end of the bench nba players often develop into great coaches, a la Monte Williams, Rick Carlisle, Matt Guokas, Tyrone Lue, Steve Kerr, Phil Jackson, and even the great Hubie Brown, etc etc.
If any of these guys get any serious court time, you know injuries decimated the team again.
