I can see my house in the la alma park section. I just started skating, and I love that little 3.5/10 spot. Nailed my first drop in there yesterday. Excited to check out all these other spots!

you should really skate the lafayette/erie/longmont/frederick skate parks! i think they’re pretty good! and also curbside is really good as well
Grew up skating the last area you were in and thank you for calling GVR the worst skatepark in Colorado….Back in 2005 I had to skate 2.5 miles from my house to skate that park….only reason I went was because the locals there had cars to drive to the other better parks in the state like Commerce or Dpark….met some of my closest friends there…..BUT bro I kept cringing every time you added the “E” in MONTBELLO….
The “Monetbello” you mention is a California city…. WE are MONTBELLO and proud lol small difference

The skatepark you broke your rib at was built in 2014 a couple years after I graduated and got me back into skating heavy. Great video OVR tho. Thx for this.

You missed the park at York and 47th, it's right by elyria park. It looks like it was built by the same people that did Paco Sanchez. Some locals have added some stuff, it's pretty fun.
Man, I think I may have said this in another comment but I’m bummed I skipped on this one. I had skated it before and even even have some footage from it, but I wasn’t entirely sure if it was a recognized skate park or if it was just a DIY that was made really well, but if I made this video again, I would’ve definitely included it!

Check out Dayton skatepark. Technically in Aurora but 5 mins from Stapleton. My favorite small park!

Edgewater Skate Park might as well be Denver if you wanted to check it out. I'm not really a skater so can't comment on how good or bad it is, but it's big enough to check out imo. Cheers!
It sucks because I actually skated that park right before making this but because it wasn’t within the city lines of Denver, I didn’t include it, but I did actually get some footage there, so I hope to make a full video including that park soon! Also, thanks for watching!

My man that ice,sonw is like right of passage for us our parks call for nothing more than a little pain and Sacrifice and if u fail too hard dont fret that ice snow mix will come in handy later and man its kinda krazy a good precent of these you shown were either not even built or were just coming into construction in mid 90s up to 2010 area when i was still capable lol ... an side bar here cause i havent finshed watchin befor im commenting and judging by your mapped pins i see on vid it doesent look like it but did u make it to wheel park off of chambers and iliff or just south of by less than a block

Why is it that Denver has so many extremely low quality parks?
Everything where around has better parks. Golden Park, Arvada Apex, pretty much all the other skate parks are better.

scam skate park builders were given the contracts under budget quotes and poor cheap design and build
The suburbs around denver have some of the best skateparks in the country.
I heard that Denver has a contract with some concrete/sidewalk company to build all of its skateparks. Not sure if that’s true, but it would explain the rough ground and questionable craftsmanship.

it could be a simulation and the devs didn’t spend a lot of time on the park or the variety of cars planted there… 🤔😂

It’s in the industrial area near the dog food plant at an abandoned building if you want to check it out! I’m not sure of the exact address but it’s pretty close to the highway.

@EricJKuhns imo DIY's like that are the truest skateparks more than pumptracks but I understand those also tend to be the ones locals want kept secret

Yer not gonna be laughing about how your foot hurts once you get older, and jump on ice and break a bone or crack your head open. Yer a good skater, and that was a cool back flip, but yer a little bit wreckless. Reminds me of me when I broke my foot jumping into the Arkansas River 2 years ago. Im 45 I was on crutches for like 7 months, and then constant pain and limping for 2 years. Getting old and injuries are not funny! Once that went away now I have back pain just from sleeping on my stomach. Yer gonna gain weight TOO, as you get older. Oh, and I hope you have medicaid or someone to pay all the medical bills.😮😢😂 P S Gleaming the cube, an old 80s skate movie is free on UA-cam right now
Oh man, I’m already feeling the pain from over the years as I’m in my late 30s, especially right now since I’m working on a new skate part to put out next month here on the channel and pushing my body as much as possible, haha. I’m sore every morning! But I am glad to have health insurance. Losing a few good friends over the past couple years that I used to skate with has taught me that I’ve gotta live every day like it’s my last. Also, I had no idea that was on UA-cam for free so I definitely got to check it out! Thank you so much for watching!

I'm going to try to be as nice as possible here, I was going to click like on your video but what you don't seem to understand is those so-called low quality shity skate parks that you're bitching about... You might want to check out woodlands parks are getting their funding how about that don't bitch about shit if you're not going to fix it. Obviously those neighborhoods didn't see it as a priority and or they didn't have the funding for it!
I do my best to give my honest opinion about things whether it’s a skatepark, a product or something else, (regardless of the politics surrounding whatever it is). In my view, giving things low ratings, if they are in fact bad, gives light to the issue so that they can be fixed and so that city councils, and the other people who approve these parks and designs know what skaters actually want or at the very least what my personal opinion as a Skater wants. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “if you’re not going to fix it”. As someone who makes videos, my voice is the greatest power that I have.
