I was today years old when I learned you can outright kill Vide's first form, and do it so quickly that the game gets all confused about how to transition to Phase 2. That's just wild, man 👀
Aeber's Reckoning scales with both physical attack and speed (including temporary buffs) : since throné naturally gets a lot of both at high levels, and since her talent gives her phys atk and speed buffs for free at the start of any nighttime battle, it basically turns her into a nuke when combined with the enemy defense debuff from armor corrosive. The same thing works with p much any character with the thief job if you build them properly, though buffs can be a bit finicky (currently running Ochette with lost tribe's dagger + blessing in disguise in my casual playthrough : with all buffs/debuffs up it easily reaches 99999 damage).
some bosses have a hidden buff that lets them survive attacks on the first phase, so they can give their mid battle speech, this can be removed with Abating Orb
Bosses like more to talk then to fight. Instead of using scripts they decided to give a hidden buff. They always survive with 1 HP so they can have their 3rd speech. After the talk is over you can hit them with a stone and they are dead. To remove this tedious things you can use Abating orb. They wanted to have a smooth gameplay transition to phase 2 of a boss fight. But it doesnt work out well because the bosses have to low HP for this. Also they had no fix to the "burden of optimal gameplay" flaw which OT1 also had. What this means is, as soon as you find out and optimal way to play this game, there is no need to do something different. But because it is the best way to play, the devs have to either find it out on their own and make the bosses act accordingly, which means its no longer optimal, or they just do nothing and everything just gets the same old repetitive combo over and over again. The only thing I can think of in OT1 which was unintantional was that alsmost every optional boss has a "count down" like break me 5-7 times and I unleash a massive attack. So you were forced to end the fights quickly and for that you needed OP combos. They also tried to fix this and gave optional bosses a mechanic where they just remove one of your party members so you fight with 3 instead of 4 in order to disturb your combo. But this also doesnt matter because you are no longer limited to one damage dealer in OT 2.
Not bad. Had no clue what was going on half the time it was going on to fast. Someone might have smashed this score by the time I saw this run; but I watched this first because the other number made no sense. You did not seem to cheat nothing obvious to me at least. Good Job I mean it.
Honestly who needs determination and training when you got 4 dudes with sticks to do all the dirty work
I never knew Abating Orb could remove the 1 HP survival of bosses.. Very interesting mechanic. Now I want to try to use that in a strategy.

That's just wild, man 👀
Normally you shouldnt, hed normally survive with one hp, but you can remove that condition with abitating orb

And that's Canon
Amazing work!
Damn, great job!
Was that luck with the 100x exp with Alrond or were you able to RNG manipulate it?
Can someone please explain how throné’s hitting that damage?

So assuming Alrond didn't roll into x100 during foreign assassin what happens then? Reset?
You can do a slower route with EXP x10 or reset.
2:17:59 - the cutscene buff lol.
Abating orb? What did that do?

@@diethylmalonate I see, thank you.

44:51 why do you walk there?
The screen is long so I'm trying to avoid a second encounter.
ah okay thanks
Obviously a cheater. Cheaters never prosper.
What?
lol, he's not. You just didn't understand the game mechanic at all.
How are they a cheater?
@@dicknasty1616 He just have no idea how game mechanic work.
@@arawit69 I wanted like a genuine reason from them. There has to be a reason outside of them just saying "no way"
