Even though this day cruise was about 8 weeks ago when my coworker friend was visiting, she and I had a great time. I honestly was blown away by how beautiful the scenery was. I took so much footage that all my camera batteries died! LOL! Thank you so much!
Just got home from spending 2 1/2 weeks in your beautiful Alaska ! I like you , enjoy the piece and tranquility of discovering and traveling alone. Flew to King Salmon and did some fishing ! I'm a young 70 year old gal, and if I was 20 years younger Alaska would be my home ! My children know that when the day comes and I pass...I want my ashes to be scattered in a place that I love ...Alaska :)

It really is far more than I expected it to be. I always thought Colorado was beautiful but Alaska is easily 100 times that! It truly does draw a lot of people here but mostly tourists. Maybe they don’t like shoveling snow? Thank you so much Nick!

@@AloneinRemoteAlaska thanks..this week is rough but alittle better.my mom broke her leg and was in a big city hospital two hours away.now she,s in a hospital 20 minutes away.she,ll be there awhile but atleast she,s close and some of the nurses are friends of mine.yesterday my dad had prostate surgery and was in rough shape last night but he,s better today. Last Saturday they found a cousin of mine in his apartment deceased.he was 34 years old.i,ve dealt with that and feel better now.he was handicapped because of a drug addicted mother and had a crappy life because of his grandmother so even tho we miss him we feel he,s in a better place now. When I saw your video it made me feel better soon as I saw where you went and by the end it had relaxed me.. thank you so much. I,am glad your getting a break from the building and can enjoy your cabin life now.i,ve stayed in areas like that and I very well understand the noise thing..i,ll never forget laying in bed one night and hearing the most calming noise..I got up to look and see what it was. It was snowing and I could hear the snow falling..that's priceless too me. You have a great week miss Annie alone and thanks for what you have done for me with your videos and friendship.

Amazing! So beautiful! My daughter and I took this same cruise....and we lived it! We took two different cruises - two different occasions and this was one of the two. It is so gorgeous yet mystical even scary - majes one realize how tiny we are and how powerful Gods creations are! Hauntingly beautiful. That water is so deep, it looks black at times on the camera but in person was a super deep, dark jade green in color. Thank you so much fir sharing! Brings back wonderful memories. Love it! Did they open the deck floor and bring up a iceberg chunk, chip it into paper cups for you to sip and chew on the iceberg, it's the purest best water and ice I've ever tasted- and had. So pure and fresh!
This was an amazing day cruise! I don’t think they did iceberg cups but if they did I was so mesmerized by the scenery that the captain could have yelled “Abandon ship” and I would have been filming still! The video does a great job of showing just how majestic everything is but not exactly! You know what I mean. And the water is just an interesting color to stare at. Like its not real water! I am very happy you enjoyed the video and that it brought back some great memories with your daughter! Thank you so much Charlotte!

Visually stunning. Sadly because I have been so focused on the homestead I have not ventured far. I do plan on going to Whittier as soon as I can get my residency on August 31. Need that fishing license. Lol. Been itching to go catch some fish.
I get my residency end of September! Can’t go fishing until I get that resident license! I can’t believe what they charge for “out of state” license! And I know I have a few years of settling in that needs to happen. Like you. Plenty of time to fish after you get some construction done! But I have definitely had the urge to go fishing! @@AloneinRemoteAlaska I really want to be able to hunt this year. With the new puppy coming I will have an extra cost of food at the butcher shop. The out of state tags are nuts on the price. I did get a one day tag for fishing last year as the fish decided they wanted to be caught here in Talkeetna last fall. Lol. But OMG that out of state hunt tag was just stupid last year.

I always compare Alaska mountains to be like Colorado on steroids! Colorado wild country is amazing but what I see here is just 100 times grander. Maybe that’s a difference with Colorado being so high in elevation and Alaska being sea level. Either way, I lived in the two most beautiful places in the US. I love sailing among the ice floes and the mountains. The boat you’re on is quite fast. Ships are much slower. It’s so soothing to see those majestic scenes.

Of course I don't know what you have seen in Alaska but I can say that Valdez (and the entire trip to Valdez) is absolutely breathtaking! I'd suggest it be on your list of places to go! YT as a profession takes some time but its like converting a hobby into a business. Since I am so new at video editing and filming I have opted to take some courses. As a tourist Valdez was my favorite after visiting most of the rest of the state. There are no cruise ships which makes a big difference. I loved the down home feeling of everyone we met. Sitting on the edge of the bay and watching the tide roll in with thousands of salmon was unbelievable. Good luck to you.
Valdez has become one of my favorite places to visit! This trip/cruise was taken awhile ago but last time I was in Valdez, there was a cruise ship docked and the town was packed full! I will have to pay attention to the cruise schedule next time. 😁 Fishing season just packs that town in too. But when it's uncrowded and calm, you just cant beat Valdez!🧡💚

It really is far more than I expected it to be. I always thought Colorado was beautiful but Alaska is easily 100 times that! It truly does draw a lot of people here but mostly tourists. Maybe they don’t like shoveling snow? Thank you so much Nick!

I have been enjoying the solitude around my property again as everything is back to normal again. @@AloneinRemoteAlaska thanks..this week is rough but alittle better.my mom broke her leg and was in a big city hospital two hours away.now she,s in a hospital 20 minutes away.she,ll be there awhile but atleast she,s close and some of the nurses are friends of mine.yesterday my dad had prostate surgery and was in rough shape last night but he,s better today.
Last Saturday they found a cousin of mine in his apartment deceased.he was 34 years old.i,ve dealt with that and feel better now.he was handicapped because of a drug addicted mother and had a crappy life because of his grandmother so even tho we miss him we feel he,s in a better place now.
When I saw your video it made me feel better soon as I saw where you went and by the end it had relaxed me.. thank you so much.
I,am glad your getting a break from the building and can enjoy your cabin life now.i,ve stayed in areas like that and I very well understand the noise thing..i,ll never forget laying in bed one night and hearing the most calming noise..I got up to look and see what it was. It was snowing and I could hear the snow falling..that's priceless too me.

Amazing! So beautiful! My daughter and I took this same cruise....and we lived it! We took two different cruises - two different occasions and this was one of the two. It is so gorgeous yet mystical even scary - majes one realize how tiny we are and how powerful Gods creations are! Hauntingly beautiful. That water is so deep, it looks black at times on the camera but in person was a super deep, dark jade green in color. Thank you so much fir sharing! Brings back wonderful memories. Love it! Did they open the deck floor and bring up a iceberg chunk, chip it into paper cups for you to sip and chew on the iceberg, it's the purest best water and ice I've ever tasted- and had. So pure and fresh!
This was an amazing day cruise! I don’t think they did iceberg cups but if they did I was so mesmerized by the scenery that the captain could have yelled “Abandon ship” and I would have been filming still! The video does a great job of showing just how majestic everything is but not exactly! You know what I mean. And the water is just an interesting color to stare at. Like its not real water! I am very happy you enjoyed the video and that it brought back some great memories with your daughter! Thank you so much Charlotte!

You know I don’t like water deeper than a kiddie pool but seem to do alright on ships. Boats I get a little scared. Canoes or kayaks forget it! I am literally like a cat in water. Ever seen those videos when people try and give their cats a bath?? Of course in the waters I was in, you would probably only last about a minute or two before freezing to death. And from what you are saying you should stay off boats, ships and buses! Thank you so much!

I get my residency end of September! Can’t go fishing until I get that resident license! I can’t believe what they charge for “out of state” license! And I know I have a few years of settling in that needs to happen. Like you. Plenty of time to fish after you get some construction done! But I have definitely had the urge to go fishing! The out of state tags are nuts on the price. I did get a one day tag for fishing last year as the fish decided they wanted to be caught here in Talkeetna last fall. Lol. But OMG that out of state hunt tag was just stupid last year.

I always compare Alaska mountains to be like Colorado on steroids! Colorado wild country is amazing but what I see here is just 100 times grander. Maybe that’s a difference with Colorado being so high in elevation and Alaska being sea level. Either way, I lived in the two most beautiful places in the US. Anyone visiting Alaska has to visit Valdez to soak it all in! And take a day cruise to see the ice flows and wildlife you just get blown away again! When I had done it years ago with my children, it was absolutely breathtaking!😲 I was already hooked on Alaska but the cruise made me even more so! Be careful though! I love sailing among the ice floes and the mountains. The boat you’re on is quite fast. Ships are much slower. It’s so soothing to see those majestic scenes.

Big T you have not made the trek to Valdez? 😲 I would say yes, you may be missing out! Of course I don't know what you have seen in Alaska but I can say that Valdez (and the entire trip to Valdez) is absolutely breathtaking! I'd suggest it be on your list of places to go! YT as a profession takes some time but its like converting a hobby into a business. Since I am so new at video editing and filming I have opted to take some courses. As a tourist Valdez was my favorite after visiting most of the rest of the state. There are no cruise ships which makes a big difference. I loved the down home feeling of everyone we met. Sitting on the edge of the bay and watching the tide roll in with thousands of salmon was unbelievable. Good luck to you.
Valdez has become one of my favorite places to visit! This trip/cruise was taken awhile ago but last time I was in Valdez, there was a cruise ship docked and the town was packed full! I will have to pay attention to the cruise schedule next time. 😁 Fishing season just packs that town in too. But when it's uncrowded and calm, you just cant beat Valdez!🧡💚
