Hi Channa, I am guessing you might have already worked this out by now but you can copy 1 bar to the 2nd, 3rd & fourth bar using the sequence & track editor?

Hi whats the problem that i cant see only the colored scenes but not the pattern in the right windows? I exported the samples from the djs software to my stick correctly

Hi! I am not too sure, as far as I know, it's still the same.
I have some doubts regarding Pioneer DJS-1000. I have been using Akai MPCs for a long time. Currently using Mpc 2500/1000/ Renaissance.
My concerns
1) How many samples can I use at a time within a single pattern? ( In MPC, for a pattern we can use 16 x 4=64 samples in A,B,C and D banks normally)
2) How many samples can I layer in a single pad ( In MPC I can stack 4 samples with separate Volume, Pitch and Velocity levels)
I don't think you can stack samples on the DJS
Hey fam can you use the DJS-1000 with the Pioneer XDJ RX-3? If not what unit from Pioneer would you recommend that's similar or better than the Pioneer XDJ RX-3 thanks in advance
The XDJ-XZ has a dedicated send output to use with the DJS1000.

Just needs a baseline solo with vocals, drum build up and vocal drop and back to your main drum sequence for 16 bars and your good!

Cool.. but it is expansive machine for what it has inside... mpc live is more more more n more and with less price.. djs should be around 900 to 1000€ .. what do you say?
I'm not sure, looking at the MPC Live, it seems like it has an audio interface. I didn't get too much information, but it looks like Pioneer could have lowered the price on the DJS. But, they already have the SP16, which costs more and resembles the MPC layout. The DJS is clearly geared toward DJs that want to replace a CDJ in the booth very quickly for a show. I have yet to try it out with a CDJ, or my dj controller. I want to use this unit to live loop my electronic music productions. Once I get a track structure and workflow, I'll start being able to DJ my track with other tracks. Either way, I got this on a 12 month plan from zzounds. So I'm only paying $99 per month with no interest. If I don't like it, I can always sell it. I think that's half the fun!! Getting to try out new gear! Lol!!
For dj's in the club and festival scene where you are only allowed (literally most places frown upon bringing your own gear), pioneer is the gear you have to use. Because of this, the djs 1000 is a better choice than mpc's or 707's as a sidearm for a dj set. Pioneer mixers and gear do NOT have midi out usually and you have to manually sync other gear with it. THAT's the benefit of this particular piece of equipment. Is it a ripoff...yes. Pioneer doesn't play well with other brands. I had to switch from Roland and Akai because most gigs require pioneer.
Can you have it play automatically? Instead of triggering the pattern manually?
I'm looking into as many functions as I can. The instruction manual is absolute crap and doesn't tell you much.
The name "scene" does not give me any help.. They should call it KIT... because every scene is alwasy with the same kit of samples...same sounds.. FROM WHICH YOU CAN CREATE 16 PATTERNS..

djs-1000 downgraded to a drummaschine which a tr can do much better easier for half the price. I think the djs-1000 was not designed to be a simple drum maschine. There is much more in it.
Its a knockoff of the akai mpc's and roland tr drum machines
Do you know if the Alai can change patterns via external midi?
But those dont sync with cdjs without an external hub which is 500$+ and not ideal
