What exactly is calibrated? I noticed on mine, that the tuning knob on the back has a minimal offset to the perfect tuning. So it has to be slightly next to the center notch to be in perfect tune (checked it with a tuner). Will this change after calibration?
Yes exactly! I would set the tuning knob to the center and then run the calibration so you basically start from zero. The knob is more for quick tuning on the fly but you dont wanna have to use that all the time.
Guy, I did everything as in the video but after the calibration (it always takes more than 10 minutes, up to 30 or more) just the osc 1 stopped working. I just can hear some noise when i turn the wave form knob, that's all i get from osc 1. Does anybody know what happened or know how to help me pls
Thanks, this is way faster than diggin through the manual. Straight to the point.
glad to help!
Thank you so much! I didn’t realize it reacts to temp changes like brass instruments do. That’s actually kinda cool to learn lol
Apparently the Matriarch can take up to 20 minutes to calibrate and the grandmother takes a little less time than that
Good to know! Thanks for that
Lol i take that as a reason to buy more synths 😂

Thank you! Glad to help.
Thank you!
No prob!
Do you need to keep any of the knobs and switches in a particular order or state?
Nope! Not necessary 👍
What's a "little bit of time"? Mine has been flashing for 5 minutes now. 😑
mine too :/
