Still Platinum Within your reasoning talent wise you cant compare 2Pac and Biggie refering to lyricism (read: poetry, like 2Pac professed) to Shakespear or more recently Maya Angelou a renowned poet. One could even argue Biggie and Pac are not on the same level as (more relatable than Maya and Shakespear) lyricist as Rakim though I personally think it has more to do with style. MJ is a whole other ballgame since MJ is mainstream pop. Back to the rap game Gucci is killing it (In a good way) Stays relevant reinvents if you actually listen to his lyrics they make sense... yes there is some chanting burr burr and what not it just mixes it up a bit since personally I dont like to listen to a seminar about social consciouness everytime I want to listen to a song. Its music and what Gucci puts out there is fire. He deserves the credit and is already Legendary.
