Want to ask, how's Corpse Husband doing?
Haven't heard of him in a very long time.
Having low self esteem doesn't cause you to set someone alight he's clearly full of bs
He’s sorry he fucked up his own life. He feels no remorse
He’s a sociopath. And once a sociopath ALWAYS a sociopath.
I agree it’s an excuse, not a reason.
so many people have self esteem issues and don’t light others on fire. i’m insecure as hell and i’ve never even THOUGHT about hurting another person. he doesn’t care at all :/
He likely meant that in response to why he went along with the act of setting her on fire. Most kids at their age don't have real understanding of empathy or the gravity of their actions due to a lack of development in the prefrontal cortex. Part of the reason why they try and sentence kids differently, it's legitimately possible for them to grow out of the fucked mindset that got them into prison in the first place.
That being said, jail can make it way worse and nobody seems to give a shit about that for some reason. The lack of change in prison systems has killed way more people in and out of prison than this one case. Shit like this just gets more attention and clicks due to the overt cruelty on display while 1000s more are killed with subtler cruelty. Your limited ability to empathize with people means you're unlikely to ever get this until it happens to those close to you.
Only 17 years in prison for setting someone on fire, ending their life is a joke.
17 years is a long ass time.
Edit. I said this because it IS a long ass time. A hell on earth to experience it in a spanish prison.
They spent their youth getting their teeth kicked in everyday. Brings a smile to my face.
@@SetiSupreme Not for what they did.
In Spain the maximum sentence usually given is 25 years. There are many reasons for this but a huge chunk of the population think is absolute bullshit as it is unusual but not rare to see criminals get into jail, get out of jail, inmediately commit another crime, get again in jail an so on

@@jesusknight1 That is true but it's still a super long time to spend behind bars. The longest I've been in there was for three weeks and it was hell. Even in a Nordic country prison. But it must get easier after some time.
Receiving only an 8-17 years prison sentence for dousing a homeless woman in industrial paint thinner and lighting her on fire is crazy.
Its infuriating, but I saw it coming. For some reason they almost always seem to get away with it
@@hpesrep It's probably because of their age.
you missed the part where the inmates had their fun
Classic EU justice.
@@hpesrepSpain is a pretty progressive EU country so I believe they support "lighter sentences" but maybe actual rehabilitation programs inside the system to prevent recidivism. Or at least that's what I'm hoping, bc that's what I interpret EU prison systems as
"I lit a homeless woman on fire because i was insecure" oh well in that case all is forgiven
It would be hilarious if it wasn’t basically what happened, I’d love to know who thought eleven years was an appropriate sentence for a completely unprovoked, Barbaric attack that must have been terrifying and incredibly agonising for the poor victim.
How much do you wanna bet that these two brats only targeted female or elderly homeless people, because they didn't have the nads to target somebody capable of defending themselves?
Doesn't sound like he was making an excuse, rather he was giving an explanation. And yeah, it's petty, but few murders are committed for reasons most people would think of as 'reasonable'.

They weren’t opposed to homelessness. They were opposed to homeless people
And they were also sociopaths. Quite obviously
That's the normal reaction.
I think some of those who violently despise the homeless just realize that they are one financial disaster or mental break away from being in the same boat, and it utterly terrifies them. Others are just monsters looking for a helpless person to torment.
Right. However, no charity may solve the problem of homelessness. Affordable social housing may, free hospitals for addicts may, social workplaces may. All these aid programs would take much more than charity - they would take government funding. Something that's hard to achieve, considering general trend for preservation of neoliberal economic policies at all costs

Wow the guys who set the homeless lady on fire are scary, and it’s hard to find their so called remorse believable when they laughed at her as they ran away. To inflict that much suffering and pain on someone is absolutely heartless. 😡
I don't think they remorseful at all either. That act was truly sickening.
I don't think they had remorse till they realized the consequences of their actions and by then an innocent life was taken due to their cruelty and hatred. it's sickening that they are now free men, absolutely disgusting individuals
yeah, I don't believe it either. bet they only started feeling "remorse" when they realized how much time they were facing. they should have gotten longer sentences for what they did.
the best part was listening to inmates have their fun with them just as they did with their homeless victims. shame they didn't go a step further to burn them so that their "remorse" would be genuine
Karma will get them.
Those kids in the homeless woman’s murder, are absolute monsters. I highly doubt they feel an ounce of guilt or remorse.

Being insecure and having low self esteem is no excuse, they maliciously took a life out of hatred for homeless people, most homeless people have fallen on hard times and homelessness is a serious problem especially in the US. I'd clarify it as a hate crime and it's terrifying that all 3 are now free men.
So far I have noticed Spain is way too lenient in punishing their criminals.
@@emilyseger1421 Don't forget Japan and Korea. They even cover their faces. (Actually they've just passed a law in Korea that makes it possible to show criminal's faces)
One would think that insecurity and low self esteem might prevent someone from committing a crime in fear of failing and/or getting caught.
@@DylonsBBGorl didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing!
OP you are straight up just wrong, in modern day USA most homeless people made deliberate choices to end up there. We offer more social services than most countries.
19:11 off topic, but something about young women sitting down to celebrate their accomplishments with a cake, and choose not to eat it, and sit there and starve because of “weight gain” is so fucking sad. food is meant for celebration, it’s a happy moment, just to be tainted with societal pressures
right? Especially since it seemed to be made of like snack cakes? The fact they didn't feel they could have even one hoho/Dingdong/what have you to celebrate a birthday right after a concert where they likely danced their asses off...it's just kinda devastating they didn't get to have that one little joy before tragedy hit.
I was once talking to a chick that (in her childhood) would literally sit at lunchtime staring at her food, and only devour it within the last 2 minutes. She did this for like 10 years. She was diagnosed with schizophrenia in her 20s. Had a daughter, and starved her 2 year old baby to death. Took her own life in the psych ward.
Yeah they are super harsh with idols in Korea (probably other Asian countries too). Many stories of idols hiding in the bathroom to try and eat food. Victoria from f(x) would only consume 2-4 liters of green tea with lemon and I think honey everyday for two weeks to get into shape for promos/touring. IU was told she was too fat to make it big and had to lose weight on an already tiny frame. Her "[in]famous" diet is an apple for breakfast, a sweet potato for lunch, and a protein shake for dinner. And mind you, this is on top of a 16 hr, minimum, day where thy have to train/practice. When it is full blown tour time, some idols have said to only get 30 minutes of rest a day because they are practicing or doing interviews/photo shoots non stop. Many celebs pass out at their concerts due to hunger/exhaustion. And it is common for members to take a several month hiatus to recover.
Unfortunately, they are forced to do this as they can always be replaced until they make it to the top. There is a never ending line of new faces ready to take their spot because it is so competitive. And what is worse for female idols, is that there is a show idols guest star on where two assholes will always weigh them or try to trick them into weighing themselves.
New to the entertainment industry?
The homeless woman case terrifies me. One minute she's a promising world bank employee with a loving husband and child, and the next she's living in an ATM booth with no one to help her as her life came to a brutal end.
Untrue, people tried many times to help her, especially her mother and her daughter. She refused help multiple times. As said in the video, they fought to get her back on her feet, and she spent all of the money she received on alcohol, even when homeless.
While I believe you are specifically regarding the actual moment of the crime, if she had not rejected the at least three separate attempts at help from both her family and pension programming, this would not have occurred. It's tragic, but the larger problem is that she was an addict, and the only one who can save an addict is themselves.
@@SlipknotForevah yes I was referring to the actual moment of the crime, when she can't even call the police because she knew it would be futile

That homeless woman reminded me of a similar case in Brazil, 1997. Galdino, an indigenous man that was living on the streets was set on fire by 5 young men. He died after 1 day on the hospital, today all the 5 culprits are high ranking officers in several different Brazilian branches of government (the children of rich people scaped justice and are still in power today).

In Charo’s case, I really wish the old “eye for an eye” idea was brought back. Some people just deserve to have what they do to others done to them as punishment. A few years in jail in exchange for a life is the definition of injustice.
This is the consequences of her actions. Her bad decisions led her to her own death eventually.
If not, she would still be with her husband and daughter but because she is a coke addicted junky that is a cheater, she was left without a home and job.
Everyone loves saying "eye for an eye" until its you being falsely accused of a crime
The downside is that, people with power can abuse the "eye for an eye" which ultimately results in the deaths of wrongfully accused. That idea sounds wonderful through words, but reality is often complicated and subjective. It's the same argument with people wanting to bring back the death penalty in my country, when they don't realize that the rich and elites will most likely use that to further oppress the unfortunate and marginalize.
@@Somespideronline yeah true. Giving the state that much power isn’t my preference, and it always can be abused or used against wrongfully convicted people. Not sure if you’re familiar with a massive case in the Untied States in the late 90s. The Columbine shooting at a high school. When this happened , because of the boy’s taste of music, music artists/groups like Mansion, Metallica, and many more, were being blamed and hated on and everyone was blaming these artists for the crime these two boys committed. Poor bear, wasn't it's fault some guy got too close to it and tried to take a picture for whatever reason that I'm sure sounded as though it wasn't completely insane to do. Shouldn't of gotten lynched for what happened.
My favourite type of compilation. All of these stories are somehow cautionary tales about the dangers of others (Red Flags, ecc) and ourselves (always keep an eye out even if you feel safe in taking a selfie)
It's sad that in today's society, we have to keep an eye over our shoulder because it's others' carelessness or lack of humanity that can harm us..
Wow, amazing work. That first story was chilling. Mental health is NO joke, people. Never feel ashamed to talk about ANY negative emotions. There are people who can & will help without judgement. Also, for people online (witnessing stuff like this). Don't be afraid to whistleblow or even just reach out. Stuff like this isn't usually sporadic & can only imagine how much therapy the person finding that would have. God bless all.
Greetings from Iceland, just your favorite Icelander strolling by. Great job as always
I can't believe they killed that bear for doing what's in its nature, especially when it was the human invading its natural habitat ... and for a selfie at that. Infuriating.
Man mauled by bear after trying to take a selfie with it, bear beaten to death by angry crowd.
This sounds so much like a casual day in Russia, but it happened in India.
🗿
🗿
Sounds like Florida too
Imagine dying for the perfect picture? What a stupid waste of life...
Natural selection
Yeah you can’t fix stupid but sometimes it fixes itself 🧐.
Thank God for Lazy. The only consistent creepy content that puts out new topics
That poor dear lady in Spain 😢 her murderers didn’t spend nearly enough time in prison for what they did to her.
zero sympathy for cheating females lol
@masterBong1 you are seriously psychotic 👿
@@masterBong1 men do this all the time and it doesn't become a capital offense.
@@mendingwall3823 bruh fate caught up not because a “capital offense”
The least the judge could have done given the light sentence is insuring that these monsters should live a homeless lifestyle themselves and be refused employment and place of residence for life and not be allowed to leave the country.
Once again I was searching for a new lazy video, only for it to be released some hours later! Thank you!
I speak russian as a secondary language and knew about the case of Andrey, he was crazy. Not only because he stabbed the teacher, but that he saw off his own neck. Saw the pictures of his corpse with the neck halfway cut. How can one do this to themselves. That's a wild method.
The flames of hell will feel less intense ?
I think this is the earliest I've caught any video ever
Lazy, I know its such a heavy and dark topic, but I hope you can cover the current cat torture ring happening in China. We need awareness and aid in petitions and support and I know you would cover the topic with the care and sincerity needed. Thank you for always giving us high quality content. Most importantly take care of your mental health, if this is too horrid of a topic to cover on your channel I can understand
Yes, good idea. That shit keeps me up at night 😩😭
That's horrific... And definitely needs covering.
I absolutely love the OG Resident Evil intro, your hanya mask is so sick and I am a huge fan of this aesthetic. Cannot get enough of it. Your videos are amazing. Keep up the good work!
Glad I can watch this during my lunch break! Thanks for the upload Lazy!
Nooooooooooooo not Ladies Code on a LM video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heart breaking story. I remember when this happened. I was in COLLEGE. Just completely shocked. We didn't think it was real.
A perfect way to calm down before going to bed (yes, I use your videos to calm down xd). I hope you've had a great day, Lazy! Thank you for the great content
The ambient music hits right.
Feel like I'm on a cloud.
Another Lazy video of interest! Keep doing you pal. First heard of you thanks to your urban legend videos. A man can wish to see those videos again.
Never thought I'd see the story of Ladies Code on here.
Agreed. I remember when it happened and I'm now realizing how long ago it was...or wasn't ( I don't know if I feel 10 years is long or not)
I absolutely love your intro music. It gives me Goosebumps vibes. Extra nostalgic.
Yesss! I was just worrying about what I was going to listen to this morning to get my workday started and Lazy delivers!!
That second story OMG how absolutely EVIL 😡 sick!!
That poor bear.
Ahh yes perfect timing!!! Lazy never disappoints!
I want to take a moment to appreciate how your video title actually describes what the video is. I have had to unsubscribe from two channels with videos about "images with disturbing backstories" and they are just regular creepy stories with some images to help illustrate the story. I'm glad you actually do what you said on the tin. Consider my sub earned.
I'm here minutes after the drop!! NEVER in the YEARS I've followed you, have I been able to catch a video this fresh!
And let me tell you, Fresh Lazy is the BEST Lazy!
I will never understand people risking their lives for selfies. How does someone need likes and validation THAT badly?
When I went to yellowstone people were doing dangerous selfies everywhere, around steep drops, near boiling mud pits and near huge bison. Most of them were Asian tourists lol.
@@BobBob-cx9wm Chinese? Koreans? I can't tell.
I used to visit the Grand Canyon a lot as a kid. There were several times that my dad specifically chose to leave early because people were doing dumb stuff for pictures and he didn't want to risk me having to watch someone fall to their death. Before selfies, it was amateur scenery or wildlife photography that tempted people over the rails.
@@transsnack and at many sites there are no rails
Been following you're channel for ages, always love the videos.
YES SIR another lazy Masquerade video. The last photos series is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite out of the lazy masquerade series.
The first one definitely does sound like he had at least some "inspiration" form Walter Sullivan in SH4 as his so-called obsession implies.
For those who haven't played SH4, Walter would carve 01121, 02121, 03121 in to his victims in ascending order, and it turned out the middle 1 was actually a slash so it would be 01/21, 02/21 and so on. Eventually killing himself and carving 11121 in to himself. This fella's 11117 is reminiscent if different.
Though of course likely no revenant spirit coming back from the dead for more victims and all that like the game character.
That black bear didn’t know it did any wrong and they beat it to death😠
It's awful isn't it 😢😢
There’s only one thing about your videos, one big flaw I don’t like… They’re never long enough and there is never enough of them!!! They’re too good!! 😹😸
YAY! You've made my day so much better!!!!
Time for some Lazy Masquerade and chill
The mercilessness of those guys who murdered that poor homeless lady is off the scale. That stupid, immature laughing face of the one when the flames go up - pure evil. They got it easy from the court in my opinion. That poor soul :(
I haven't seen you in my feed for a moment, it's nice to have you back. Hope you and Lady are doing well
The third one is a regular occurence in India, you could make endless videos about it. People constantly lose their lives over there in the most absurd ways.
I wasn't really surprised by that story tbh.
Honestly, it's the same everywhere. There are so many warnings in places like the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone about the dangers of doing dumb stuff for pictures, yet several people die every year because they just needed that picture! It's... ugh. Bad way to go, but it's so avoidable I struggle to really be that sympathetic.
@@transsnack Fences and paintballs should be used as a deterrent.
"would rather be playing Dark Souls than learning about Dark Matter" took me out
Thank god new Lazy Masquerade video! ❤😊
Appreciate your content! ❤
Ricard Pinilla said that the beating wasn't as bad as it could've been. He also says he's sorry... 🙄🙄🙄 The other kid said that he's going to jail for something he didn't commit... Despite being on video. These people are awful.
In Norway, if you stab a Black Metal musician in his apartment, you only gets 14 years...
"I was also on my way to kill Euronymous"
@@JunkyardGod ohhhh you know what? I think that Death had that condition that people think they are already dead and they want to be buried. Sometimes they don't want to eat either. I day that because of Death's affinity to the scent of dead small animals.
@bergman6581 he went by Dead, not Death lol
But yeah, he would cut himself on stage. Bury his clothes in the ground for days etc

It's a good day, or night, when a new LazyMasquerade video pops up and my kettle just....coffee! 👍🏻👌🏻☕️
Wait why did the choco-pies affect the kpop crash? He kind of implies it’s related but I didn’t catch why?
they didn’t affect the crash, it was just a sweet treat that she should have ate since she was going to die anyway, of course there was no way she could have known that 😢
@@RomanCatholic oooh, thank you
Why didn't the people beat up the Taj Mahal if they did beat up the bear?
