  • UKIP MEP Godfrey Bloom on Wednesday was ejected from the European Parliament in Strasbourg after directing a Nazi slogan at a German colleague.
    Godfrey Bloom said "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuehrer" - one people, one empire, one leader - as Martin Schulz, leader of the Socialists & Democrats group, was making a speech.
    Bloom was ordered out of the chamber and will face disciplinary measures.
    According to the BBC, Bloom said he stood by his words, describing the leader of the socialist group in the parliament, as "a national socialist", a nazi.
    Barry Madlener, MEP for Geert Wilders' Dutch right-wing populist party PVV, supported Bloom.

      That was said a long time ago..
      1985-2000 there where people calling themselves Anarchists, but they never got accepted by the public.
      They where anti democratic fascists who would do anything to anyone questioning them, without remorse!
      When they realised that they would not get the public support they started calling themselves Antifascists/Antifa and started moving in to mainstream media, politics and all humanitarian/environmental/animal rights groups to hijack them.
      They now have support from most of the public who think they are what they say they are, but our doom is their agenda!
      If you dissolve their “politics” many will realise and the others will attack you!
      The psychopaths that run it are the ones that will attack and defend it no matter what!

These regional variances will happen at every level, if you break up the EU because of this then your argument logically extends to cutting off the North East from England and Wales from the UK. What do you imagine the EU has done with all the fish then? It's precisely this "our fish" attitude that caused all the problems that resulted in EU intervention, member states have proved they can't manage.

    Argh. He wasn't calling him a Nazi, he called him a Fascist. Different thing, Nazism is a subset of Fascism which has its roots (flip side of the same coin) in Socialism. Semantics aren't exactly my strong suit. The Monarchy does not 'rule' us, it's all ceremonial. Idiots do get voted in by good people all the time, see a one 'Berlesconi' lol. Ignore the spitfire and aesthetic of the website, the spitfire is a symbol of resistance in the UK on all things. It's not a reference to the 'days of glory'. WW2 essentially ensured that Britain lost its 'days of glory' through massive debts and decolonisation even though we were victors. Pure rhetoric. Now please concentrate on the content of the site, it makes for very interesting reading and will explain quite few things very well as to why the UK opposes the EU and wishes for independence.

  • @LondonsFinestSon
    @LondonsFinestSon 11 років тому

    This is where you have gone wrong. I have never said the EU is the Third or Fourth Reich and called it outright Nazism. I have simply been trying to show you that Socialism and Nazism is not all that different, and seeing as national socialism is a sub type of Fascism (like corporatism and sydicalism) it is very interesting for a Pro-EU type, like yourself, to define them as not EU characteristics. Semantics aside, we both agree that the UK should leave the EU and that is something to celebrate.

  • @LondonsFinestSon
    @LondonsFinestSon 11 років тому

    I am, personally, not in favour of the FPTP system in the UK anymore. It's too vague and doesn't represent the public view enough in this day and age. We can agree on that. The separation of powers in the EU is also something of a farce. The Commission are the executive but are also solely responsible for proposing legislation. The EP simply agree on matters they propose. The ECJ is following the Commissions direction on EU law and simply rules on them (ec.europa.eu/about/index_en.htm)

  • @LondonsFinestSon
    @LondonsFinestSon 11 років тому

    Did you read the article I sent you? Peace in Europe is an out and out lie. The Balkans, Czechoslovakia, Basque, IRA etc. The 'educated people' of Europe are not integrated they are subsidised but can (and do) pursue their ventures through larger international bodies which do not require political union and the 'harmonisation'. Google: 'Eu politics: a picture of ignorance' for an article on 'educated people' and google: 'EU politics: in "Europe" and ruled by Norway' on DIQULES legislation.

  • @LondonsFinestSon
    @LondonsFinestSon 11 років тому

    @jurjose I remembered why the 'proportional' part of your comment is flawed too. In the UK we have roughly 840-855 thousand people to each MEP in representation. A smaller country like say Luxembourg has roughly 75-78 thousand per MEP. Yet their weight in representation is considerable in the EU. That is a massive disparity. It means that in the wider EU political apparatus 8% of the population can impose on all others in the EU. Hardly proportional.

  • @LondonsFinestSon
    @LondonsFinestSon 11 років тому

    If you wish to go on about how democratic the EU political system is I can simply copy and paste a conversation I had with another individual like yourself. Ill send it to your inbox if you want? It is not impossible at all by the way. It simply takes a long time and lots of money and/or support. Considering UKIP has forced the Conservative government into calling a referendum Id say that it's working wouldn't you? Fringe views in the EP hold no power. Like the whole parliament frankly...

  • @LondonsFinestSon
    @LondonsFinestSon 11 років тому

    It's called parliamentary obstructionism. History is littered with examples where people operate within a parliament in order to bring about devolution, independence or dissolution of the said parliament. The most famous example being that of the Irish Nationalists in the British House of Commons. They also place themselves in a position to see the inner workings of this vast supranational organisation that is the EU. It ensures that there is an opposition which is fundamental to true Democracy.

  • @SaranjitDosanjh
    @SaranjitDosanjh 12 років тому

    @johnsmith4442 do you not have access the real news? the argument is When not If. English parties want a referendum now, SNP wants to wait until the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Bannock Burn, read the story about Robert the Bruce and the spider this is what SNP are marketing the referendum on. Scotland will be free again, and then they'll join the EU and be subsidised by the English again (among others).

    @jonybeam the way out of europe is to mobilise the British parliament, have a referendum. Going to the european parliament and behaving like a petty lout is just pissing in the wind. Certainly the European Union will never legislate to exclude the UK or anyone else, they won't even throw Greece out for breaking the rules, it's up to them to leave. Surely you have heard of The Drachma? You know that Greece had a currency but they could not manage it, going back to that era will not help Greece. Even in the 1830's Greece was bailed out by Russia, France and England. The EU is the only reason Greece has remained functioning for the last thirty years.

What I am saying is that if anyone knew about how Nazi Germany functioned, as well as how the EU works (or rather attempts to) would know they are not at all comparable. My favourite kind of comment is still the comparison with the USSR. @WesSeid Trouble is this is the EUSSR and we have no Bill of Rights or constitution. In reality our 'leaders' are free to come up with whatever laws they want and the serfs have no option but to accept.
    Of course they can always take to the streets and protest, but then the Lisbon Treaty has a clause that allows our 'leaders' to open fire on protesters so that tactic might not be such a good idea once the claws close for good.

    @asdasdasdfdfd333 "majority of these countries"? we are talking about two countries and a bit of Ireland. SNP manifesto includes referendum in this term, they already have one foot out of UK and in EU. Wales might want to stay to get subsidies but they can get that from the EU just as easily. UK is the remnant of a forgotten empire.

    I tend to ask you: "Tell me more about your home sweet home". But, but, but, I don´t really like to hear such more.
    So, especially for you stinky brain. I haven´t comment on any politics.Just asocial behavior.
    Most critics here can´t deal rational with this video.

    @dideleda you talk about how they let me speak as if it weren't their obligation. It's not a whining, it's a protest, you act like a minion of fascist mentality. "People like me" as you say, fight for a free world, where press is impartial and doesn't try to manipulate people's oppinions. Do you know where there's press that's subservient to the government? Noth Korea.

    @Clausewitzz If you had said communist, there was at least some room for debate. Now there is none, because this is such a far out statement.
    Calling the Dutch MEP fascist-minded has some merit to it btw. These folks of the PVV are as un-liberal as you can find them in the Netherlands. If you want a police state Europe, go ahead and vote them in.

    @ContemptForYou
    Whats wrong with your statement?
    #1 Bloom IS a democrat, he supports referendums and direct democracy, a point which led to him blasting Shultz as undemocratic as he supports none of these.
    #2 His party does support RP
    #3 His party does support an elected second chamber.
    Please research before you post ignorant opinions, thanks!

    @Ermintrude75 Yes, but they voted to enter the EU, they have never once voted for a monarch. The EU has it's commissioners appointed by democratically elected governments, it's MEPs elected democratically by the people, and minsters from democratic administrations sit at it's council of ministers. Not saying the UK is undemocratic btw.

    @Ermintrude75 Ok, I take your point. However, you have a democratic government (bar the house of Lords and the Queen) who hve voted through treaties etc. The reason Ireland has been given numerous referenda is due to our constitution - which cannot be changed without plebiscite.

    @abefar12 First off, how exactly am I a disgrace. Secondly, no I am not a homosexual - and that's quite offensive to those who are. Thirdly, the reason my country is poor is the wreckless neo-liberal agenda it's government pursued over the past 13 years.

    @Ermintrude75 In parliament there is a need for courtesy. You cannot accept that and as an analysis it is even completely wrong. The insult agains Van Rompuy was targeted and good, but this is just rude and stupid.

    I don't like him either but that's no reason to call him a fascist. The thing is, if he was portuguese Mr. Bloom wouldn't have used that term. He's just pandering to the germanophobic UKIP crowd at home.
