I’m so happy for the all the people that are about to hear this song for the first time. It’s been about 6 years since I’ve heard a song that has captivated me the way rodeo clown did first time I heard it
anyone else notice that he says "crowd gets quiet" at the end instead of "crowd goes wild"? a much different ending to the song/metaphor, but probably one that is only imaginary to the clown.
It’s a much dramatic turn cause in that case, the clown is the only one running to the (allegedly) injured cowboy lover. I misheard this part when I first listened but kept singing it that way since. Great emphasis on the insecurity and manic fear of losing their lover. Great writing truly
So freaking good. I can't believe there is almost NO live Dijon on youtube. A freakin travesty.
I’ll bring you some tomorrow hopefully. Goin to see him tonight in New Orleans.
kinda glad though especially stuff off "absolutely" i feel like needs to be heard in person!
@@magnoliamonitoring any update ?🥺
@@magnoliamonitoring did you record any videos?
the crowd clapped at 3:18 was so satisfying 😭
Saw this in Atlanta and cried like a baby. His music will never cease to induce frisson thru my body

Just as amazing as I thought the live version would be
Whoever is singing, you have a good voice
@@arya-fe7cv Lol obviously! I meant the guy singing in the crowd, maybe the one recording, or someone next to him
Featuring back-up vocals from my friend standing right next to me 😂

Great analysis!
What does the song mean I kinda have a feel for it but seems like you know more. I don’t get how the crowd going quiet instead of wild changes much
