Just have to say a gigantic thanks again to spaceodysee2000 for this concert. Fans, folks, BBS sisters and brothers, this is, as far as I know, a fan filming. It's not BBC, Colbert, Rockpalast, etc. It's a gift to us watching it. The sound and filming is top notch. Now, was there not enough views of Richard (bass) as one commentator said below? Let's enjoy this for what it is - a super concert filmed by a fan. And Richard is filmed, BTW. I'm just re-re-re.... watching and loving every second (again and again).

It just blows my mind that BBS plays these massive venues in Europe, Festivals, and Capital Cities which they sell out. I waited over 5 years for them to come to Canada and finally saw them in a 1200 Capacity Tavern/ Dance Hall in Kitchener Ontario. The best sound and show I have ever attended in a small venue. Best Band from the south since Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Black Crows. I will never miss another live show from them in Canada or US Border town I can travel to.
Hi from France where I saw BBS in Paris. The show was held at the Bataclan with a capacity of 1,400 I believe. Is that a bigger crowd than in Canada or the US? From all the clips I've seen from their tour almost all were sold out, but we're not talking 10,000 people. I don't know for sure, but the venues in Europe are in the 1,200 - 2,000 range I believe. But I do think they could fill a venue/stadium that big. Best band out there IMHO. And BBS give 1000% no matter how small or big. Do a meet and greet if you can. The money goes to an Atlanta Children's Hospital... Rock on Andrew. I'll fly, again, to Portland, OR from Paris if they play there later this year. Love 'em so much. Best, Linda

@@lindathalman3506 I thought Bataclan In Paris was a huge venue. U2 has played there and many other big acts. It surely is a bigger venue. BBS comes to Canada and plays Dance Halls and The biggest City they play is Toronto's Danforth Music Hall with about a 2000 person Capacity. They surely could sell out some of the 5k-10K venues but I suppose the music does not compare to Justin Beiber or Rap music that sells out arenas, The Under 30 crowd is enamored with. What a joke!
Saw BBS in Vancouver - Commodore Ballroom... it was a brilliant show! Can't wait for these guys to roll through again... I'll be there right up front!!!
To the powers that be, Charlie and BBS, please leave this show up filmed so well by fan spaceodyssee2000. This "sells" the Smoke to a whole new world of fans. I showed older clips to folks in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana on a recent trip. I'm a crazy, true fan according to folks who put up with my singing the praises of Blackberry Smoke where ever I travel. And I won over a bunch of new fans in Africa! Merci encore spaceodyssee2000 for all of us who were at Bataclan in Paris 24 March 2023. Unforgettable!

You are so right. BBS played in my city last week. When I found out about the show, I thought: "Meh, they're not really my thing." Then I watched this video and a couple of others and realized, "OMG, they are one of the best live bands on the planet!" So, of course I went to the show in my city. And of course, I was blown away. And now I'm an obsessive groupie who's planning travel all over the country to see other dates, and I've spent over $150 on merch in the last week. They are SO good that you can't even comprehend how good they are without seeing videos like this and then seeing an actual show.
Thank you thank you for this !! I’m in Australia… it’s 7 am on Sunday April 2 23 … and I feel like I’ve just been to church at the Bataclan. Please keep this up here on UA-cam so that I can bring my fellow BBS brothers and sisters to church too. WOW what a show. ! This band is on fire.. I could watch Charlie Starr creep around that stage for a month of Sundays Whoooooo!

By far the BEST live band today. Saw in Tempe AZ and they continue to get better year after year. Can’t get enough of all the excellent guitar work and continuity between all the band. Top notch catch them if you can.

Watching for the 100th (?) time. Every time I see and hear something I missed before. AND I was at this concert in the front row.... way to the right of the stage. spaceodysee2000 you filmed this so so so brilliantly. It really is my go to concert. Brit was in the hospital. We missed him at the concert. And now it is bitter sweet to watch knowing he passed 3 March 2024.Tears. Merci encore for a memorable concert. Hope you'll film BBS in Sept. 2024! Just seen them in the Roundhouse Camden Town London April 1st after buying the tickets October 2021 so been waiting 3 years to finally get to see them again and I must admit they were awesome and Charlie is even better when you are standing in front of them on stage. Since Tom Petty’s death in October 2017 Charlie and BBS have always put a couple of Petty and HB covers on their shows and it’s just like Heven

Rock n Roll does still live, and in it's finest form in Mr. Charlie Starr and BBS! These guys aren't just a throwback homage to the old great Southern rock bands, they are just as good, or better. Period. As great as they play live, and as incredible as Charlie is as a guitarist, singer, and front man, his writing is what carries the day in the end, IMO. This is a song-driven band, and the fact that you want to hear those songs over and over again is a big part of their allure. Bravo, and keep rocking gents!.

Fans who were at the Paris Cabaret Sauvage on Halloween concert, we "begged" for BBS to sing Six Ways to Sundays which was not on the set list I believe. Charlie said "Guess you guys wannna sing" and they did it in the encore. And this time, they STARTED with it! Good memory Charlie! It's no wonder the Smoke are a fan-based band... we love you and you love us all back, too. Merci.

Re-listening for the nth time. Paid special attention to "Waiting for the Thunder". Paris we "done good" singing the lyrics! BBS often do this song, but Charlie just seems to know when he can bring in the audience. It doesn't work every time. But, wow, we rocked Paris. We know those words and he said we sang beautifully! Thank you Charlie. And spaceodyssee2000 another big merci beaucoup to you for the concert filming and posting. You have my forever lasting gratitude.
J'adore les commentaires autour de la caméra. ça fait tellement plaisir à entendre. Perso j'ai découvert BBS par hasard en cherchant un cover dune chanson sur UA-cam (in constant sorrow) et leur manière de jouer m'a intrigué.
ce groupe est totalement hors-norme! je les ai vus 5 fois depuis 2015, et en mars j'ai eu la chance de les rencontrer après le show en faisant un don à une fondation de recherche contre le cancer. A Zurich (suisse), on était 4 VIP. Et j'étais le seul qui parlant anglais, osait vraiment profiter de ce moment, privilégié. 30 minutes avec eux.
Charlie était là, il venait de sortir de scène, d'une grande simplicité, posé, très calme, en contraste total avec l'énergie qu'il déploie sur scène.
Paul riait en voyant la tête que j'ai fait en voyant Charlie de près. ça faisait 3 semaines que je préparais ce que j'allais lui dire et d'un coup, j'étais muet. Ils se marraient tous du coup.
Anti-star depuis le début. Je me suis fendu la gueule parce que même hors show ils font des blagues et se marrent malgré le fait que Brit soit parti immédiatement à la fin du concert, et ne pouvait venir au "Meet after show".
Paul Jackson est très marrant et souriant,. Il te prends dans les bras et t'observe, il a remarqué mes tatouages par exemple, et m'a posé des questions.
Benji parle peu mais est très chaleureux et souriant. Brandon Still très sympa, a fait des photos pour me rendre service, avec mon téléphone, et ensuite Paul m'a pris avec Charlie, et le fils de Paul, (donc mon smartphone est devenu pour moi un objet précieux). On a parlé de nos enfants. c'était d'une grande simplicité. Charlie était un peu ému quand je lui ai parlé de ses fils, un peu comme s'il avait pas l'habitude qu'un fan lui parle non pas de lui et de sa musique, de l'artiste, mais à un père de famille.
Je leur ai dit que je viens de me séparer de mon épouse, j'ai eu droit à des câlins, et plein de gentillesse de leur part.
Il faut dire que Charlie a pas toujours eu la vie facile. C'est un homme résilient, d'une grande force et extrêmement intelligent.
Un homme qui aime profondément son prochain.
Je me suis marré en disant à Charlie que je suis plus vieux que lui et qu'il me doit le respect comme on dit chez moi, ça l'a fait marrer. On a comparé notre grandeur, on faisait les cons quoi.
Etant autiste je dis parfois des trucs qu'il vaut mieux éviter de dire, mais j'ai osé dit à Charlie: tu chantais beaucoup moins bien il y a un peu plus de 10 ans, ta voix était moins bonne non?
- et il me regarde en souriant, et me dis: I've stop smoking to sing better for Blacberry smoke! you know?
Je comprends l'ambiance dans la salle à Paris, à chaque concert ils mettent le feu. Et comme le dit une personne dont le micro de la caméra a capté la voix, ils sont meilleurs sur scène que sur leurs disques. Pas une fausse note, tout est parfait, les impros et tout.

Me too! All and any clip, concert, interview. Just saw them in Tacoma, Washington! I flew to Portland to see my brother and we trained it to Tacoma. Believe this: we got invited back stage by the general manager of the EQC hotel/casino to meet the band! What a heart stopping moment that was! Rock on katman. From Paris, France.
