- Create your own macramé dress. Oversized fringe dress ONE SIZE. Easy pattern only square knots. No mannequin needed:)
Measurements of the dress:
width: 45 cm (17.72")
max. width 60cm (23.6")
straps length: 14 cm (5.5")
total length: 72cm (28.3") + fringe 10cm (4")
total length (max. width) 70cm (27.5") + fringe 10cm(4")
you can decide if you want MINI or MIDI
max. fringes 30cm (12")
my measurements:
bust 91cm (36")
waist 74cm (29")
hips 99cm (39")
height 172cm (67.7")
You will need:
2 mm braided cord (410 m)
I used 2 balls of YarnArt Macrame Cotton, colour 794,

2 pillows 45 x 45 cm (17.7 x 17.7")
a piece of cartboard 8 cm (3.15") wide
measuring tape
sharp fabric scissors

Cut the cords:
4 x 4.10m (410cm) 4.48yd
4 x 3.10m (310cm) 3.39yd
136 x 2.80m (280cm) 3.06yd

Well if the cord is soft, I would say yes you can try, but you might need some adjustments in length and number of cords But I highly recommend 2mm as the dress is not that heavy :)

Thanks a lot ! You can try of course,but it will take some time if you don’t have any experience. I would recommend starting with smaller project, if you never done square knots. You decide 😁
