Thank you so much for this! My crutches was really in need of new handles :)
I was having a meltdown not able to get my crutches adjusted after the urgent care left me with horribly adjusted crutches. Your video was the only one that helped me understand how to actually remove the bolt so I could move the handle, thank you.
You are very welcome. In the future consider a visit to your pharmacy for something like this if it is urgent. I expect they could help with some things or know the right resource.
I just bought some new handles, so thank you! Mine are beat down and really in need of new ones for sure. Thank you.
So helpful! Thank you.

Hi Ron, just wondering if you can buy a replacement pin as well. I lost mine 🙄. Thank you for a great tutorial. 👍. (I’m in Australia)
You should be able to do so. I would suggest you look at a home health store where wheelchairs and mobility scooters are sold or contact the patient relations division of your local hospital to find out where they are sold near you.
Thanks for the demo but it was no where near so easy for me. Firstly, the pin did not just pop out on either crutch. They were both stuck firmly so I had to go get a hammer and give them a whack. Secondly, the rubber hand grips did not slide on easily. I tried the hammer technique again but it didn't work this time. Then I had the Idea to submerge the hand grips in hot water to soften them. That worked a treat! 😆
I bet your experience will help when people find this video. Thank you for contributing to the discussion Amanda.
