Eh? at 59sec where you switch back to points mode, how is it magically only selecting a circle of points exactly in the centre? There's no explanation for how you did that? You just switch from poly to points mode and voila, magic circular selections!
What a terrible technique! no wonder Cinema is way behind other softwares when it comes to ease of modelling. If the company software instructor has such poor approach how can the software become necessarily advanced enough???

The Character Definition and Character Solver tags can maybe help you. You would retarget the animation with these.

@@bilbs87 yea, my guess is you have to change selection tools and view it from front on and start your selection from the centre?
He chose it before doing the tutorial
