I had beef with my neighbors, and this dog would hear/smell them stepping out of their house, even when we were 300ft plus away or inside the house...and he would growl and bark relentlessly at them, usually he is super chill .. He would always alert me and I liked that bc the guy was a creep and would sneak around...

You could get a livestock guardian dog. That's the breed & what it's bread for. They're big, but not Great Dane big. They're fierce protectors, but very calm with their people. They're friendly as long as they're socialized and introduced properly, but they do have a heavy coat, so that might be an issue in the heat. They have no problem living with the goats outside. If you give them the job of protecting you and the goats, they will do that 24/7.

My chihuahua was always in the streets, making me look like a bad parent. Chico would always find a way to escape. People would try to grab him, and he would just run back in. Put chicken fence on the fence and didn't help. I found his escape hole when I put a little leather jacket on him and found the jacket stuck on the fence. Lol.. RIP chico, my boy❤

It makes the difference on how trained and used to environment so they know usually naturally good from bad but not all areborn that way as long as you can bond with them each ,then show them right way but sometimes let them try to figure out and patiently teach., or correct when necessary in a good way, but also let them know when it time serious to be serious but on alert in calm vibes just be aware of surroundings. And lastly some time to just enjoy some rest & relax ,bonding time, love on them,talk with them. They may understand more than you think. GOD I ask for your presence over this home. If I may make a suggestion from personal experience, take your dog out early morning, right when the sun starts to show when there’s no sounds but nature keep that ATV while it’s running away from him as much as possible hearing and smell scent is so sensitive and much higher than ours I’ve learned if I meditate and keep myself calm and go in a calm area that’s quiet my dog is amazing and is very easily trained differences ridiculous….. between doing that and walking her daily while hiking with her she’s good as gold and she’s a jack Russell. They’re very high energy and mischievous but she I don’t have to leash her. I have no behavioral problems not with her. She’s wonderful. Took a little work well worth it. And with your fast pace lifestyle, you could probably use the to give yourself 30 minutes a day and just do a couple things with the dog training while you’re out there I promise you it’s like times 10 as far as how they learn…. My dog.Anyway Good luck and I’m always commenting that I love your music your style so talented you should’ve should be where Nicki Minaj is I don’t know what happened there
