We Agree: Flights within Mexico can be a really good value. Public transportation on a whole is simply amazing throughout Mexico and we are grateful for that - you can get to almost any town by bus/combi with little or no advanced planning! We've also found that the vast, vast majority of chicken in Mexico looks better raw and tastes so much better when cooked than what we've purchased in the United States . To us, healthier, better tasting foods in general seem much more commonplace in Mexico, however the junk food is there if you want it from time to time - we appreciate it all! Paws up all round wee Guinness 😍!
Thanks so much Fiona & Jerry. Totally agree with your assessment of the quality of chickens and would add that the eggs are amazing too. Beautiful orange/yellow yolks. It’s easy to eat a very healthy diet here. Guinness says cheers for the paws up ;)
You both look so happy and healthy! I am looking forward to when my husband and I can spend more time in our home in Mexico. Looking forward to your next video! 😎🌞
Thank you for your videos I bought a condo a year ago in Puerto morelos and your right patience is a virtue in Mexico specially with the workers who we hired to do some work . Everyone is so laid back and that's what I noticed specially in Puerto Morelos. I'm retired and moving to Puerto morelos full time in about one month with my wife and by watching your videos I know that we made the right choice. Keep the videos coming thx.
Thanks for your videos, they’re very interesting and informative. We’ve been vacationing in PM for about 8 years now, usually for 3 weeks in February. We love this little town! Keep up the good work.
Thanks guys for another great video. I took a break from doing some finishing work on my house before we move/rent it out. Sold one of our vehicles today and the other will come on Tuesday before we spend a night in a hotel and fly out. Not to put a commercial in here but wow carmax did a fantastic job. Matched the offer from online and didn't try to pay us less. We love the food in mexico and we have said the same thing, it is always fresh and it seems way more healthy. It is sort of unbelievable that this transition is about to happen.
Wow you two sound busy busy. I remember our last couple days before jumping on our plane to Mexico were so hectic. Well done on your cars ! And yes we know what you mean about it feeling ‘unbelievable’ . It will probably take you a couple days in Mexico to chill and process that ‘hey, I live here now’. So awesome - enjoy the journey :)
You are both looking the best! And wee Guinness is looking as handsome as ever🥰 I love the Mexican cuisine and like to eat out a lot so I don't have to cook lol. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
Lots great here. I have completed my tours ( 5 months of it. ) You will love it! Closer is tourist areas, there is lots of english speakers. The costs are affordable and the culture and food amazing. It depends what your looking for in your life. If I can be of any assistance, let me know. Cheers.
Hi Raymond, that's great the Yucatan is a beautiful part of Mexico and we want to explore it more. Our favourite town in Yucatan remains El Cuyo so far in our travels but there is still so much more to see.
Hey guys that’s so true. We are getting settled into our condo here in PM. Hopefully we’ll see ya out and about and have a iced café together. Your video was great👍💖
We loooove Mexico as well. And hope to be living there in the next year. Thank you for your share. And the time put into this video. We love learning from you and your page.
Thanks for the informative videos. My wife and I will be in PM in Jan., looking forward to checking out some of the places on your videos. Thought you may be Cdn but I would have guessed East Coast. Shovelling snow in Calgary this weekend, living the dream.
Hi JS! Snow the thought of it makes us cringe! Raquel is Canadian from Ontario but she lived in Northern Ireland for ten years. I,(Ricky) am Northern Irish but I lived in Ontario for seven years. That's why our accents are both a little off lol. Hope you have a great time when you are in PM, not long to go now!
Thank you for sharing the 5 ways Mexico has changed you both. The sound so great and meaningful to you. We hope to experience that someday and leaving a cooler climate here in the western US. One question we would love to you talk about in a video is how you knew the time was right to take the leap of faith, something which you talked about in an earlier video by traveling with two suitcases to Mexico! That would help us alot. Thanks for the inspirational videos! 😀
Hi Mark, Thanks for your comment and your wonderful video topic suggestion. Yes, taking the proverbial ‘plunge’ !!! We have some rainy weather here in PM in the coming days (not the best to film outside) so this video may be out soon lol ! Thanks again
Your videos are very helpful b/c of so much information. I was wondering about the veggies there - probably no cauliflower or brocolli . . . lol You both look very happy and enjoying yourselves. I've been watching a bunch of videos to get caught up.
Hi Mayra, you can get cauliflower and broccoli in the supermarket or the fruit and veggie shops, most vegetables are available with the exception of parsnip which I have never seen. Other vegetables like butternut squash and Brussels are available on occasion. Hope this helps and thank you for your kind words Ricky
Another excellent video, I always look forward to hearing your next video topic. We will be going to Cancun in June, hope to make it over to Puerto Morelos.
You both are def living the life. It's embarrassing to us when we're in Mexico and you hear people being rude to the workers. Aren't you there to enjoy your vacation. Why be in a hurry, just relax and enjoy the country and especially the kind and warm locals. It's getting pretty warm here in Canada but I've said to my husband I'd rather be in Mexico enjoying the sunshine, lol. Hopefully by the end of the year, I'll have to change my heading, lol. Again, another great video.
Thanks for your comment Debbie. Yes, we also feel terrible witnessing folks making a scene complaining. Thankfully, it is not the majority of folks! Yes, you will have to change your name from ‘Missing Travel’ to ‘Loving Travel’ lol. Enjoy the warm Canadian weather until you are down in Mexico 🇲🇽 😊
@@RickRackTravels yes, lots of great vibes and fab times to all! Have a happy day today, time for a walk. The rain cooled it down a wee bit and it's off to the local bakery for breakfast, followed by some all home aid buttery and sweet, cinnamon buns. RICO!

What’s the sargassum situation like right now in PM? Is the town keeping up with it?
Hi Heather, The beach this afternoon looked pretty good. There was some saragasso on the shore but the water was clear
@@RickRackTravels thank you! PM looks like it checks a lot of boxes for us. Can’t wait to be there in person in August.
If you could start this entire process all over again, would you? Selling everything you owned in Canada 🇨🇦 to move to Mexico 🇲🇽?
Yes we would! The only thing we would do differently is move sooner !
@@RickRackTravels siiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, mio mucho gusto mi nuevo casa! México means changes, good ones, frustrating ones. Lots of growth and happiness.
