    Always great, and informative videos. Have a good laugh and learn something new just about every time. That is quality entertainment. Paper plates and heating up the rings good info. Sadly my griddling has been on my stove top, but I just found a griddle insert at a reasonable price to put on my Weber Kamado. I need to pony up and buy a weight and a couple of new spatulas. Still using the old one without a handle. Thinking about finishing up or drinking what I have at home so I don’t buy any beer for six weeks to pay for my griddle insert. I also find when I cook breakfast on the griddle, I get close to having a breakfast coma. It ya that good, delicious and filling. Okay, perhaps not a coma, but a nice nap instead.

    I highly recommend the tater tots from a company called Simple Truth. I think that this is actually a Kroger store brand. The package says “Potato Puffs”, but they’re clearly tots. I like them because they don’t have any onion powder in them like just about everyone else uses. I think they do that to mask the off flavor of the sub-prime potatoes they buy. These ST tots are restaurant quality and they taste like potatoes and nothing else. They’re about $1.00 more a bag, but they are worth it. Great videos!!!!

      @@JohnnyBrunet They taste exactly like the tater tots from Sonic Drive-In when they’re deep fried. Hey, I just had a thought. They fry about twice as fast as French fries which is cool.

    • @JohnnyBrunet
      @JohnnyBrunet  Рік тому +1

      I've never tried to just crack the propane. I assume you're only turning it on low, that's what I do with mine. Also I don't wait a long time to put food down. If I let it preheat for 20 min it will be too hot. So I put my food down after it gets to temp, around 10 minutes.
      I've had some people tell me that they put regulators on there propane tank. Again I've never done that but it's worth looking into.

When I add the second batch of butter, I crank up the heat, add seasonings and they get that crispy golden crust I’m looking for. I will say, NEVER use Canola oil.. ever. Tastes horrible! *runs to the store to get the biggest bag of tots I can find.
    I suck at hash browns, tots look to be the answer.
    I haven't used my griddle for a while because it's been HOT outside. She's back in season. Really need to find a better way to level it though.

      Ya if you struggle with hash browns I think tots will definitely be a easier alternative.

      @JohnnyBrunet  Рік тому

      No need to apologize Mike I am probably one of the worst spellers there is. just ask my wife lol. Also it is pronounced just like the hair color and that's how you spelled it. It's french and I'm sure if I followed the family history it was spelled like that at one point but someone in America changed it. I really appreciate you watching.
