I think it is so stupid that they named the perfumes so similarly and in identical bottles. I like one of them, I'd like to purchase but every time I think I will buy it, the names confuse me and I dont know which one it is that I prefer. Really bad marketing.
So true! I came back from Sephora and went online to find a nice gift box with "blooming" perfume, but I can't remember which one it was! Now I have to go back just to smell it..
Sure Dior likes to complicate their life and ours lol plus once you finish the bottle and try to get a new one the exact same perfume smells totally different due to the fact they reformulate them so often I can’t even keep track anymore…I just gave up. Absolutely Blooming is giving me Tresor Midnight Rose vibes, which I love. I’d say AB is the best flunker from all the Miss Dior on the market at the moment, because they ruined the original one beyond hope. It looks like AB it’s been discontinued in the US so I’m thinking it’s going to be gone in Europe next…such a shame but I’m not surprised, sure Dior has hardly any decent fragrance left.
@@Xtina19 they are off the market ? already ? doesnt matter anyway, the names have me so confused, I dont know which is which, so I end up not buying it.
@@anastasia10017 well I’ve seen people on Fragrantica talking about being discontinued in US, Australia and Canada etc ….still available in UK from what I can see in the shops. I was referring to Absolutely Blooming, the EDP version, the chunky short bottle, not the long one…it’s on the left side on the screen in Soki’s video, the one with raspberry notes. Used to buy Miss Dior Cherry all the time( the original one, and first reformulation) but after they discontinued it I wasn’t interested anymore. Still have two bottles and use them like they’re precious gold 😆 I hardly like any current fragrance on the market, they are all generic and awful, no difference in the smell. It’s just terrible what the perfume industry became.
I really appreciate your videos! Since I became a nurse, 22 years ago, I got away from wearing perfume. Back when I did wear perfume, there weren't as many choices, so now that I am trying to choose a perfume for my daughter's wedding, I am a bit overwhelmed by all the designers and choices. I have been listening to all your videos before going to the store to try them. You have such a lovely and accurate way of describing them, which has really helped me narrow down what I love! You are the best perfume reviewer on UA-cam. Very accurate, knowledgable, and just as lovely as the perfumes themselves! My sister and I are both older, (turning 60 this year) and have been learning so much from your videos and falling in love with perfume all over again! Incidentally, I just purchased and will be wearing Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet for my daughter's wedding in two weeks! It is so light, fresh, uplifting, and pretty...and I wouldn't have known to try it, had I not listened to your videos first! (I will also bring it with me and reapply, because I realize it is not particularly long lasting...but I just love how fresh, light, and feminine it is.) Thank you! 😊❤
I got a sample of blooming bouquet and I immediately fell in love with it, it’s so fresh, floral and slightly fruity I love it. Such a shame that it does not perform that well
For anyone who thinks blooming bouquet's lasting power is near zero, they should try lancome- tresor midnight rose or maybe givenchy - very irresistible. They both have these lovely peony notes and are thus, stronger and much more long lasting! 😊
I have searched for over twenty years now for a "signature scent" my tastes have gone from juicy noir, to Dior absolutely blooming. I'm absolutely in love with this scent, it smells like "me". I literally freaked out when I found it and ordered 4 100ml at once! lol. if you're here researching whether or not it's worth the price tag? My vote is absolutely!!
sorry to say that: Absolutely blooming is discontinued ıf your mind didn't change for this parfüme, you have to look for more back up bottles immediately
I have blooming bouquet. This is such a beautiful perfume and I get so much use out of mine. I wear it all spring and summer. I bought a small bottle this year and I’m almost out. This is a great perfume to wear anywhere. It’s girly and pretty like you said. This perfume makes me feel more put together. It doesn’t last as long as la vie est Belle or some of the others - but it’s not meant to - it’s a lighter fragrance. I can just as easily wear this to drop my kids off at school as I could to a wedding. Non offensive beautiful peony rose fragrance. Nice review of both, soki. I may need to pick up absolutely blooming to add to my collection
Another lovely review! I have and love Blooming Bouquet, and the Zara knock off, Nude Bouquet. It's the perfect spring scent. On the other hand, I don't quite like Absolutely Blooming, as it's a tad too sweet for my taste. I tend to gravitate towards fresher, more floral perfumes.
Beautiful review of these amazing perfumes! I own both of them, Absolutely Blooming is sooo sweet and fruity and musky (reminds me a lot of Mon Paris by YSL), whereas Blooming Bouquet is such a light flowery spring perfume with a touch of sweetness. Both of them are lovely! It’s always a pleasure to hear you talk about fragrances ♡
It’s been awhile since getting compliments when using perfumes. It wasn’t till I went to the market and I got THREE compliments within an hour. I was using Blooming Bouquet. Funny thing is, I used it to the market bc at that time it was my least favorite perfume bc it was too floral for me. Since that day, I’ve used it multiple times & has gotten at least one compliments while using it. No other perfume has done that - before and since.
Hi Soki... the Miss Dior line would confuse me...so thanks for your descriptions. I recently purchased the Miss Dior and Miss Dior Cherie.....so the only real difference here is the strawberry note....BUT I hear that these have gone through reformulations since the release. Thank you for this review that was very helpful. I am really interested in Miss Dior range. Years ago I used to wear Miss Dior Cherie L'Eau as signature scent because the Miss Dior Cheri original was too sweet and heady for me. I didn't know why? But now I want to go back in owning another Miss Dior perfume. I smelled the Blooming bouquet and it seemed to light for me. Or maybe I was smelling too many perfume that day lol. Anyway my sense of smell has evolved and I think I may like the Absolutely Blooming. I haven't tried it yet. When you compare to the Miss Dior EDP or the Miss Dior Cheri which one is sweeter and heavier? Is it a perfume that I could blidebuy? Thank you for your advice!😊
I have both Miss Dior Cherie EDP (2010) and Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. I would say that Cherie is heavier because it has patchouli but Absolutely Blooming is sweeter. Blooming is sweet in a berry syrup or berry jam kind of way. Whereas Cherie is sweet in fresh strawberries and caramel notes but also salty from the popcorn and a little spicy on the drydown from the patchouli. I would say the rose note is more dominant in Blooming as well.
@@SokiLondon thank you! I traveled yesterday and tried the Absolutely Blooming at the duty free shop. You are right. It's sweeter but in my opinion more wearable than the original miss Dior cheri. I like the smell. I also tried the new EDT. I really like it too!

Cherie is also discontinued unfortunately :( Absolutely blooming is sweeter than Miss Dior Edp
@@ms.blingthang755 great to know. Thank you!!
@@SokiLondon thank you! I traveled yesterday and tried the Absolutely Blooming at the duty free shop. You are right. It's sweeter but in my opinion more wearable than the original miss Dior cheri. I like the smell. I also tried the new EDT. I really like it too!
I love your reviews Soki 💗 the way you describe the perfume’s scent is vividly clear, I can absolutely picture them. U got a new subscriber here hehe
Aw thank you x
My signature perfume is Chanel chance eau tendre but I’m thinking of trying Absolutely Blooming so do u think I’m gonna like it ????
It’s heavier, you might prefer blooming bouquet. Or try Givenchy irresistible :)
Would you tell me an apricot smelling perfume? I'm looking for something with apricot
Hi! La Petite Robe Noir Plissee has apricot in, as do a few of the victoria's secret fragrances. Plus Sexy Ruby from Michael Kors
