I actually returned my Ultra 2 and will try to keep using my series 4 for another year. I just couldn't justify the high cost of the Ultra for little to no difference in my own personal user experience. Plus I have small wrists and I honestly thought it was too big and uncomfortable for me. I wanted to like it but actually missed my slimmer Series 4 while I was wearing the Ultra. After 5 years, my Series 4 battery still gets me through the day just fine. I will try to get another year out of it and wait for the Series 10 or Ultra 3, which will hopefully be a big worthy update for both.
I agree. I skipped this year as there's nothing different (in terms of battery). I only wanted an upgraded SE anyway (best value) but I will just get my current SE a battery replacement.
The question to ask would be this : would have you sold your Apple Watch Ultra if you weren't forced to ? If you would have done it, the follow up question is : why did you bought it in the first place ? Either way, it seems to me that you kept the Apple Watch for 2 months, so it was good for your needs, but two months later, you decided it is no longer good because your financial situation declined.
Well, as I alluded to in the video, I already realised it wasn't making much of a difference from the SE, but I might have kept it since the battery life is so good (plus I didn't need to wear it at night time - saving more on battery [I only charged it 9 times in 2 months so it's pretty awesome]) if I didn't need the money. But I had babied it since buying it on release day in case I needed to. I bought it in the first place because I wanted the better battery life and the larger screen, over time I realised those attributes weren't enough of a differentiator. The screen needs to be bigger as the Ultra still has the same information laid out in the same manner, everything was the same amount of swipes with only a few new visuals to seem like changes were made suited to that particular device. You understand I have a cynical take, but I wouldn't have gained it without at least using one day in day out. Give me a 55mm watch! I can take it.
No, I bought it simply for when I’m riding my scooter so I can see my directions a lot more better. The touch means a lot more reactive. The speakers a lot more louder people can hear you like if you’re on your phone instead of wanna watch, I think the I watch ultra is actually one of the best ones that they have and I’m actually really glad that I got one that silver border actually protects your screen does a really good job of protecting it. You might think it’s just a design for a looks now it actually protects the screen quiet while I work on motor scooters and motor bison cars my screen still not scratched. Yes I’ve only had it for about four days, but considering that my first I watch I had got scratched the hell up on its first day. Yeah, big improvement not one scratch on the screen or on the body of the watch. Better design brighter, display last a lot more longer, which is by. The best I can I have to charge it in two or three days that’s great
Don't misunderstand. I understand the metal border is for protection but it gives the impression the screen is larger. I want a significantly larger screen with the metal protection.
These gadget prices have become ridiculous.I have a couple of apple devices but I'm more of a android user especially cellphone use.I myself have spent large amounts of money on apple products and I simply don't use them.This time I haven't jumped into the ultra.I've gone for a clone instead.Looks exactly the same and all genuine apple ultra accessories fit perfectly.And added bonus the clone is fully android compatible.I feel fantastic as it didn't cost me a outrageous amount of money.
I am totally with you on this. I'll either get a new battery for the SE, buy second hand SEs or go with a 3rd party. The only thing I's miss is the iMessage and fitness functionality.
There is a line of watches in Hong Kong where I live which have interested me as they are one tenth the price. Seem to have all the functions of Apple's watches and with a 1 month battery life. I'll look into one of those.
And I had a two hour conversation on my phone still had like a good 65% pretty good I comes down to the 44 it is a pretty big jump at the 49 I have the first GEN all the way up to seven and the ultra and I would have to say that the ultra is not only nicer is a lot more better have a watch they should’ve came out with this watch through generations ago did you just say $5000 the watch is nowhere near that I mean I’d be grading off that one that works fantastic and was a lot more bigger than you had so many great qualities out of it but I wouldn’t see myself buying one 899 or 799 was a pretty good price for the watch it’s nearly $1000

for 1000 euros you get a reasonable watch that can accompany you for a lifetime... don't waste anything in the Ultra
