@@andrewhurstcars 30 fps. He primary shoots on an iphone which defaults to 30fps. There's not a huge difference between 24 and 30. It's usually a personal choice. 24 is generally seen as more "cinematic" and 30 simulates real life a little more which most vlogs are shot in.

I really like his way of giving context, and writing both literally and as a component of youtube videos are some things i've been thinking about lately and they're really so important and shape the way you communicate in huge ways. Just some feedback to you guys. I don't know if its the sound bouncing causing it or if the microphones are out of sync but when you guys speak louder it sounds like there is a second stream slightly delayed. If you are recording the sound separately all you have to do is a clap once all mics are on and recording and then sync that up in post. But as I speculated at first I am guessing this is due to sound bouncing on the walls and I honestly don't know how to counter that in a efficient way.

    • @JustQzen

Sure, he doesn't have the production value and magical editing; sure, he was "early" to the scene; but his consistent content (thanks to his good writing skills) is unmatched. I don't care about pretty shots if it's not showing stuff I want to see. It's funny how some defunct car creators didn't get that.

Doug seems like the real deal. He has a genuine warmth that shines through. I've been a viewer of him for years and I'm so happy for him that he gets to live the dream of owning a PGT

37 million is insane! Holy crap!
I’d love to see an similar interview with Linus and talk about his 100 million deal he declined.

One of the best things I've ever watched on YT. The honesty and passion is absolutely authentic just like your car reviews which is why I love them. Keep it up, I'll be watching.

Doug is the secret sauce that makes all of this work. He’s had great luck and made great decisions. But his personality is what put this over the top.

I love cars and there are countless reviewers but Doug is true to DOUG - true to his self, his style. And he is overall cheerful and real.

    He's so humble.😊
One of the reasons I watch Doug's vids (apart from the obvious, that they are honest. passionate and quirky reviews) is that I know with 99.99% certainty that I'll never get the chance to own or even drive most of them. I especially like the way Doug talks about practicality of supercars. Because it seems all kids want to own a supercar, but the probably don't get (or didn't) just how impractical they would be to take to the supermarket (for example).
