This man speaking the truth , I can't wear a pair of 4's without some young punk giving me shit or saying nice shoe , but when I wear my 3s I get dirty looks ect .. man I don't give a fk what you think , my kicks on my shoes fk around and find out . These fkin hype cats make me sick .. I love jordans , growing up I was very lucky to get 1 pair if that , as an adult I cop all the ones that I had to watch pass me by .
Gen-X here. I completely agree with you. I wear my shoes, stop playing. I’m also relatively particular about any blemishes I find on the shoe for the price I pay. If it’s minor, I don’t trip too much. That scuff you have is kind of wicked tho.
I remember when you could get a lot of these shoes for half the price back in the day. I copped these. My boy had the Olive 9s back in 94. I'm 51 and remember all of these shoes from when they first came out.
These young sneaker heads don’t know shit…they don’t know that 5s sat on shelves back in 2000 the first time they retroed and went on sale, that didn’t mean they were FIRRRREEE….they don’t know what makes a sneaker classic and timeless, I hope they don’t buy the olive 9s cuz I WILL go for a 2nd pair
Big facts! I seen someone smirk at my Penny II at the gym. I smirked back because I knew dude was nothing more than a hype beast! In 5 years these hype beast will be buying Js again!
You just said a mouth full bro it's way to many hype beast out here that just don't got no kinda style or originality about themselves I love to have the nostalgia about any og shoe from the 90s that I seen growing up back then we was fortunate enough to be able to have our parents buy jordans for us I remember my first pair of jordans I ever seen as a kid was those og 9s you showed in the beginning when they first released in the 90s and my first pair of jordans I had as a youngin was the last shot 14s..... But keep talkin your talk bro frfr good video 💯
I appreciate you and unfortunately I never had them growing up I was borrowing my friends js so right around 2015 I started going crazy and now I'm over 300 pairs of js lol
I used to work at Champs , and footlocker would only get 1 size 14 in all retros, and the same 1 guy was locked in for every pair for the 3 years I worked at that particular location.
Excited to add to Collection. I picked these up for my son years ago. This is my first olives. I'm a space jam 9 guy. Instill have my space jam 11 on ice
Same here, haven't worn the but by next year the may separate I believe that's around 10 year or maybe I am confusing with my concords I still haven't worn lol either way we both need to wear our sneakers!!
I'm the same way with my shoes when it comes to quality, I wear a size 11 too. I ordered another size 11 to get a better pair to swap out because mine had some minor flaws but, JD only had 2 pair of size 11 when I copped in person. Forget what other people are able to notice, if you notice it, that's all that matters💯

Liked and subscribed. I'm a 42 year old white dude, with probably no drip 🥲 but I LOVE old sneakers. The original 7-8 and 9's came out in a time where I was absolutely obsessed with MJ. But we were very poor and Jordans were just too expensive. My mom saved up for the play off 8's and I got the play off 9's from my godfather. I do NOT care what anyone thinks I love what I love. And I loved the olive 9's! But never got them before. Glad I FINALLY got them.
Don't be too hard on yourself. Everyone is welcome to appreciate a well designed pair of sneakers.. besides Tinker Hatfield, was a white guy with no style either, lol
