I love being a licensed nail tech! I love what i do and how creative you can be. The pay is awesome if you know what you are doing. I wont ever go back to the JOB sector! I have my own nail truck and freedom. I love it!
I have a great stable job working with the government and thankfully I love it. But I also love doing nails and experimenting with new styles and techniques. I bought a gel kit last year and have been practicing polygel recently. I’ve been thinking of doing nails as a side job as I work only 4 days a week. And it must be fate because earlier today I was looking up workshops on how to use nail forms and was even talking to a friend about taking some classes. Then when I get home and go on UA-cam, here is your video! Fate ;)
Yeah. I took that step 3 months ago and I have 50 hours left of school before I take my practical and get my nail tech license. :) I hope other people can take that leap of faith if they want to do nails!
I am nailtech and busy getting my nailstudio ready for the next level. Extending my business. I still have a full-time position in the financial sector but enjoy my nailstudio so much and are dreaming of one day I will....... 💞💅🏻
I have been doing nails since 1982. I am now 58 working at a hotel spa now in Florida. I worked for myself and for other nail places. The industry has changed so much and so many cheap fast places here in US. Harder to make a living now at it,but still love it.
My mom and grandma were both hairstylists and half way through beauty school we did nail class and that's when I decided that's what I wanted to do. I always did my nails myself growing up so I got alot of practice from an early start.
I would love to be a licenced nail tech but I'm currently completely bed bound (4 years now) due to a progressive illness. I have been completing online nail courses though that I love doing which also distract me from my situation and also show me that I can do something by myself. I hope to at some point be able to get out of bed and at least into a wheel chair.
I am not sure I am ready to jump into this trade yer :)) I am working in the IT industry (sitting in front of a computer, lol)< and I am damn good about what I am doing. But I also have a passion in creating handmade jewelley and working with metals takes its toll on my fingers and nails! They say "never trust a jeweller with a clean manicure!" because we use a lot of coarse metal files and polishing compounds and rotary tools very close to our fingernails :). In fact, this is why I started to learn to do my own nails and to use enhancements, to add a little protection. BEtter to file into polygel than into my natural nails :) But It would be fun that one day, I could turn into a full-time jeweller and a nail tech :)) It would be like working in the beauty industry double time! :)
I have an eye condition that would make it impossible for me to do this full-time 😞. But I love doing nails and I'm good at it. I don't know if it would be worth it or not for me but at least my own nails get to look great all the time and I get much satisfaction from doing it myself.
Your hair is gorgeous ❤💚 thank you So much for the video. I'm a brand new tech and it's been tough so I needed to remind myself why I wanted to do this.
Hi Anastasia, how are you? I am so very interested in becoming a nail technician. It's my goal for me and my daughter. Thanks so much for sharing this video with us. Stay Blessed.
Great video Anastasia. I would be happy doing a job like this. But until I get my back straightened out I'll enjoy watching and learning from you and others. I do have a creative side and there are many things I'd like to try. Thank you. 💝💝💝
Hi I have been following you for some time now I love all your great advice. I am from south Africa Durban I would like to start my own nail salon but don't have the experience in doing clients Nails I have just finished doing a beauty course in nails I love everything to do with beauty and nails I think I may be a bit afraid to fail.
Hello! Sounds like a great plan! Good luck with the salon! Don't be afraid to fail. I mean.. what bad can happen? Just deal with the problems as they come, cause if you love what you do - all the effort and result will be so rewarding!
I already did school. Just need to go take test. Just being in my head about it. I'm working on myself just need to go do it. But don't know all the fancy stuff but I will continue to follow your videos so I can get better❤
Lovely💞 After how many months of getting certificate and practice I would be able to work without any mistake, confidently and in convince time and right speed?? Any idea??
It actually is if you plan to go on your own, going to a booth, or opening your own suite. If you stay in a shop then no, you're not going to go far with the money.
I m thinking just to start nail tech. I m a fashion designer, not having good scaling...so wana get into this, so that I don't hv to depend on jobs anymore.,n i m a bit creative n artistic, wll this career help me?
Being a licensed nail tech is not for me. I only do my own nails and no body else. I also ain't looking to make it a business or make money off it. I love doing my own nails for the love of the art, creativity, education and gives me something that I can do to release stress

Omggg I’m so glad I saw your comment! I hate my job. I’m an artist and I’m stuck in a box that I need to be at a 9-5 desk job in mortgage..
Nails being done helps me feel pretty. That's why I'm interested. I want to help people feel good about themselves.
I’ve been thinking of going to beauty school for makeup, hair, and nails... thanks for the video. It’s given me more of a reason to go.
Yay!

It depends. Especially the confidence part :)
I think it's about 6 months
This is not well paid in the UK and you have to pay to train !
It's not in my region of the USA either. Otherwise I would do it.
