My favorite is when Sheldon keeps "reminding" Amy how she forgot to press record on one particular episode...and on the episode they are recording- he's getting ready to ask her if she pressed record and she screams "I PRESSED IT!" ...hilarious!

Very cool getting to know some of the "behind the scenes" info from the show. Not only do we glimpse just what it takes to shoot such a scene but you have also given us a peek into the subtleties of Amy & Sheldon's relationship that a viewer may not pick up on just watching the show. Great video/vlog. I would love more videos like this, perhaps on Amy's relationship with more characters than just Sheldon. 💜
Great idea! Amy has learned so much about friendship from her relationship with Penny. And, Penny has had so much to do with the growth of Amy's relationship with Sheldon. I would love to get Mayim's thoughts on Penny and Amy.

Completely agree- your scenes with Jim are the best. My favorite was not overly comedic- the scene in the car when Amy confesses that she told Mary about their living arrangement was so honest and heartfelt, it was perfectly written and performed. Thanks for all your work

I'm NOT sucking up when I say, Amy Farrah Fowler is my favorite character on the show (when she interacts with the lab monkeys it's hilarious!). The tiara scene is my all time favorite scene of all the scenes on all the episodes (close 2nd is when Sheldon kisses her on the Valentine's train). Sheldon's not demonstrative but he "knows" her. I love watching how the characters are growing. Awkward, but growing. I'm anxiously awaiting the new season.

My favorite episode: u and Sheldon sitting at table in ur apartment having dinner, and at one pt u slam ur hand on table repeatedly while yelling " PLEASE PASS THE BUTTER!" Perfect waltz!!
My favorite scenes are always when Amy and Sheldon are alone together. The conversation that occurs between two unconventional people in a romantic relationship is pure magic to me.
Sheldon and Amy are my FAVOURITE couple on BBT! If ONLY you and Jim could do a REAL UA-cam channel (as Sheldon and Amy) on FUN WITH FLAGS!

Sheldon and Amy kind of remind me of on Friends how Ross and Rachel were initially the main romantic storyline but eventually the show focussed much more often on Chandler and Monica. In Big Bang Theory's case the show began with Penny and Leonard being the main romantic plot line but over time Sheldon and Amy have really become much more of the center stage couple. Which is great, those two are such unique characters that also have really great chemistry! :)
I have a feeling like they can't. Because the characters are not their property, maybe if they somehow let them... But don't know anything about that official stuff...
Not sure if Mayim reads these, but I was curious. In season 1 of TBBT, Raj mentions wanting to get "TV's Blossom" on their physics bowl team. Was this just a happy coincidence, or was it sneaky foreshadowing?

I wrote a "fan fiction" scene where Amy has her own show called "fun with brains" where she'd wear her lab coat and give random facts and subconsciously making innuendos or oversharing about her relationship with Sheldon. The banter between Sheldon and Amy during fun with flags is surreal. My favorite episode was when Sheldon kept complaining about that one time Amy forgot to press the record button and she yelled "I PRESSED IT!", never laughed so hard.
I love Fun with Flags so much first of all because I personally adore flags (great idea btw, I want to draw some episodes with Shamy and post it on IG, I think no one doesn't mind lol :D)! I have a notebook where I drew all flags in the world when I was a kid! And of course everything you said is so cool. The chemistry between you and Jim is wonderful, Shamy relationship is one of the best things in the show. Your acting talent is amazing and I can't wait to see more episodes of Fun with Flags in the future!!!

I love and share your level of passion and the reasons you listed are the same reasons why I love Amy and Sheldon. The awkwardness you mentioned, is my favorite part of the Amy character. Right from the little bits in season 4 where she is yet to gel with Penny and Bernadette. The ice cream with coffee liquor scene is one of the earlier scenes that I just loved. For me, it's you and Jim who have kept me watching TBBT.

I love you Mayim but sometimes "anxiety and compulsiveness" may make for "focused and passionate" people, but most of the other times they make for stress, disquiet, mental anguish, frustration, depression and the kind of anxiety that creates misery rather than focus. I'd happily trade in my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for a little less focus and passion and a lot more mental peace.
It's usually "how we use it" that makes it a pro or a con. Try to use it to push yourself forward.
I think she is just trying to shed positive light on something that can also be extremely negative. Ive dealt with the stress that comes from both as well and i am not sure what your experience with them is but i find it rather refreshing and comforting that she can find the positive side to them.
