- Cheeca Lodge and Spa in Islamorada has been a Florida Keys resort recommended to me over and over. So we decided to see if it lives up to the hype!
Cheeca Lodge and Spa has several on site restaurants including Atlantic's Edge (seafood), Mia Cucina (Italian), Nikai (sushi), and two tiki bars. A similar menu from the tiki bars is available for room service.
There are two pools at Cheeca Lodge and Spa as well as several watersport activities. Rentals such as stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and more are available. You can also rent bikes to get around the beautiful island of Islamorada.
Cheeca Lodge and Spa has a great location in the heart of Islamorada. You can walk to the Florida Keys Brewing Company or Village Square at the Trading Post (a cute area with coffee, shopping including a boutique and botanic store, and a burrito restaurant). A complimentary shuttle is also available anywhere within a two mile radius.
Room options vary greatly from a resort view to ocean view. From a hotel room to a two room casita. There are dog-friendly options as well, but dogs are not allowed on the majority of the Cheeca Lodge grounds (such as the pool, beach, or restaurant areas).

The weather will be perfect in 3 weeks, you'll have a great time! We were here in July but were very lucky with some more "mild" temperatures for that time of year.
