@@karllewis3750 Barrie Cadogan aka Little Barrie, check him out. he used to have a great 60s inspired garage trio, played guitar for primal scream in the 00s and recorded the Better Call Saul themed tune. outstanding guitarist, he plays with Liam band replacing temporarily Bonehead
@@karllewis3750 Barrie Cadogan, guitarist/vocalist in Little Barrie, also played for Primal Scream for many years, played on a few Paul Weller tunes and played the theme for Better Call Saul. He's a brilliant guitarist and also a totally sound bloke. I used to talk to him when he worked in a guitar shop in Denmark Street and he'll still say hello to me and have a chat if I see him at gigs.
Liam is the last of the last of the last of this type of Rockstar 100% honest and real. Long live the King.

Saw little Barrie perform with The The.
Initially I was disappointed that Johnny Marr wasn't involved (when they reformed) - but after about ten minutes into the gig, his playing had blown me away. He's a master.

I agree with Margaret about how genuine Liam is. I'm not a particular fan and believe he is exceptional at what he does. His sales and the size of his crowds can't lie. Thirty years on and still fresh, and exciting the masses. Plus I enjoyed smiling for almost 20 minutes straight. Thanks all.

@@raycroal bro, please read my comment again. I am not comparing. I said I see a lot of John Lennon's inspiration in his music. A lot of Liam's solo songs have similar chord progression to John's. For example, his song Once has a very similar chord progression to John's unparalleled classic Across the Universe. I hear that inspiration. John was the best Beatle in terms of his song writing ability and in my view will always be the best songwriter in rock and roll history. All I am saying here is that I can see that Liam's song writing choices draw from his own inspiration, the legend John Lennon himself. Thanks for reading, my friend :)

Wonder why he's dropped everything's electric from the setlist. one of the strongest songs on that album and he played it in the initial run of the tour...

Liam was a hero of mine in the the 90s however today just seems completely lost without Noel 🤷
It feels like Noel and thr band were a huge part of his identity, almost like a twin bond on Liam' s part. That confidence and swagger he had in his 20s is gone, but it wasn't replaced with a mature sense of self. He comes off as uncomfortable with himself, slouching, spinning in his chair and struggling to make eye contact with the interviewer.

He’s honest but tired it’s been a long tour and he’s off to South America next. I don’t know about a supergroup I love the one he’s got. John Squire would be great but I like Mike Moore as well
